It is the city of the Taj, the proverbial crown of Indian heritage monuments and is one of the seven wonders of the world. This marble mausoleum is a stupendously beautiful ode of love from Emperor Shah Jahan to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It has rightfully been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
