Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 [Arrival] Delhi +
On arrival, meet our guide who will transfer you to your booked hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Delhi. Await welcome for your arrival by our representative at the airport and later transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.
DAY 2 Delhi +
Begin your tour with a visit to the famous Qutub Minar which is an 11th century monument. Head to visit some of the other attractions like India Gate, President’s House, Red Fort, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, Laxmi Narayan Temple. Proceed to see Old Delhi where you will visit Chandni Chowk, Spice Market and enjoy the local delicacies of the city. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 3 Delhi- Rishikesh (240 Kms / Approx 06 Hrs. Drive) +

Today after breakfast, drive to the station and board train to Haridwar. On arrival, check in at the hotel and rest for a while. Later visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula & Parmarth Niketan. Enjoy the evening aarti ceremony. Stay overnight stay at Rishikesh.

DAY 4 Rishikesh - Guptkashi (183.9 kms / Approx 06 Hrs 31 Min. Drive) +

After breakfast, drive to Guptakashi. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. Rest of the day is for leisure. Explore two famous temples like Vishwanath and Ardhanareshwar Temple. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

DAY 5 Guptkashi - Phata (15 Kms / Approx 01 Hrs. Drive) - Kedarnath (By helicopter) - Phata - Guptkashi +

Start your day with early road transfer to Phata Helipad and board the helicopter to Kedarnath. Spend atleast 1-2 hours in Darshan at the popular Kedarnath Temple. After the Darshan, return back to Phata by Helicopter and return back to Guptkashi.

DAY 6 Guptkashi - Haridwar (204 Kms / Apprpx 08 Hrs. Drive) +

After breakfast, drive to Haridwar which is one of the seven holiest places in India. Visit Har Ki Pauri and witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay at Haridwar.

DAY 7 Haridwar - Varanasi (By train) +

Enjoy your breakfast and head for sightseeing tour of Haridwar. Visit places like Mansa Devi temple, Chandi Devi temple, Maya Devi temple, Daksha Mahadev temple, Sapta Rishi temple and Ramanand ashram. Later in the evening, drive to the station to board the train for Varanasi.

DAY 8 Varanasi +

Munch in your breakfast later get driven to Kashi Vishwanath Temple which is a 18th century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated on the western banks of the Holy River Ganga, this temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas that has been spread across the country. You will then proceed to visit Tulsi Temple where Tulsidas, a popular Indian poet wrote epic Ramacharitramanas in the 16th Century. Visit Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple that is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Later get ready to enjoy visually appealing Ganga Arti that is performed every day at the Dashashwamedh Ghat. It is truly a divine experience to witness the aarti where you will hear the sound of the bells, priests saying the Sanskrit mantras etc. Return back to your hotel by evening and overnight stay at Varanasi.

DAY 9 Varanasi - Jasidih (By train) +

Begin your day with an exclusive morning boat ride on the River Ganges and witness the beautiful sunrise. After the boat ride, head to visit the various ghats which are famous in Varanasi. Learn about the journey of life as per the Hindu system and visit Dashashwamedh Ghat and Manikarna Ghat. In the evening, proceed to Jasidih by train

DAY 10 Jasidih - Baidyanath (8 Kms / Approx 01 Hrs. Drive) - Kolkata (By train) +

On arrival in Jasidih, check into the hotel and relax for a while. Later proceed to visit Baba Baidyanath Jyotirlinga Temple and attend the rituals of abhishekam and puja archana. Proceed to visit Basukinath Temple which is known to be one of the ancient temples in the area. After the Darshan, proceed to the station to board the train for Kolkata. Overnight in Train.

DAY 11 Kolkata +

On arrical, get transferred to the hotel and later visit Dakshineswar Kali Temple & Kalighat Kali Temple. Overnight stay in Kolkata.

DAY 12 Kolkata - Hyderabad (By flight) - Srisailam (324 Kms / Approx 07 Hrs.Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast, drive to the airport to board flight to Hyderabad. Then fly to Hyderabad and on arrival, begin your tour to Srisailam. After lunch, head to visit Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga Temple to attend the evening aarti. Overnight stay at the pre-booked hotel in Srisailam.

DAY 13 Srisailam - Hyderabad (324 Kms / Approx 07 Hrs. Drive) - Madurai (By flight) +

Have your breakfast and drive to the airport and board flight to Madurai. On arrival check into the hotel and visit Meenakshi Amman Temple. Overnight stay in Madurai.

DAY 14 Madurai - Rameshwaram - Madurai (176 Kms/ 05 Hrs. Drive) +

After breakfast, board your flight to Madurai. Visit the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple and attend the holy Darshan. Later proceed to Rameshwaram which is one of the holy char dham destination and one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Overnight stay at Rameshwaram.

DAY 15 Madurai - Mumbai (By flight) +

Indulge in delicious breakfast and board flight to Mumbai. On arrival, check into the hotel and overnight stay at Mumbai.

DAY 16 Mumbai - Bhimashankar - Nashik (405 Kms / Approx 09 Hrs.Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and start your drive to Bhimashankar temple for the third Jyotirlinga. Surrounded by blissful natural beauty, Bhimashankar jyotirlinga is a famous temple in India. Experience the spirituality of the place and make the most of your tour. Later visit Bhimashankar wildlife sanctuary and drive to Nashik.

DAY 17 Nashik +

Today drive towards Trimbakeshwar Temple which is another Jyotirlinga dedicated to Lord Shiva. On completing the Darshan, move towards Trimbakeshwar after the breakfast. Visit the huge bull that is present in front of the temple. Overnight stay at Nashik.

DAY 18 Nasik - Aurangabad (195 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs. Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast and later visit Grishneshwar Temple which was built by a shiva devotee who found a treasure hidden in a snake pit. Overnight stay at Aurangabad.

DAY 19 Aurangabad - Khandwa (By train) +

Have your breakfast and drive to the railway station and from there board the train for Khandwa. Rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Khandwa

DAY 20 Khandwa - Omkareshwar (70 Kms / Approx 02 Hrs.Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast and drive to Omkareshwar and pay homage to Omkareshwar Temple. Attend the aarti in the temple and overnight stay at Omkareshwar.

DAY 21 Omkareshwar - Ujjain (139 Kms / Approx 03 Hrs.Drive) +

After breakfast, drive to Ujjain. On arrival, check into the hotel and later pay homage to Mahakaleshwar Templeand attend the Aarti. Overnight stay at Ujjain.

DAY 22 Ujjain - Indore (59 Kms /Approx 02 Hrs.Drive) - Ahmedabad (By flight) - Dwarka (438 Kms / Approx 08 Hrs.Drive) +

Today after breakfast, proceed to Mahakaleshwar Temple. After Darshan, proceed to the hotel and have your breakfast. Later continue your drive to Dwarka which is one of the main ancient towns of India. By evening, enjoy the aarti and Darshan at the popular Dwarkadhish Temple. Overnight stay in Dwarka

DAY 23 Dwarka - Somnath (231 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs.Drive) +

Today after breakfast, proceed to Somnath Temple which is known to be one of the popular Jyotirlinga temples in India. It is also considered to be one of the richest temples in India during medieval times. Indulge in the Sandhya Aarti which is performed at the temple and will make you feel closer to Lord Shiva. DAY 24 Somnath - Ahmedabad (409Kms / Approx 08 Hrs.Drive) - Delhi (By flight) +

After breakfast, drive to Ahemdabad and on arrival board the flight to Delhi. Check into the hotel on arrival and by evening visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. Overnight stay in Delhi.

DAY 25 Delhi [Departure] +

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026

It's was a pleasant trip. 6 days and 5 nights - 3 couple. Cover kochi, Kollam and alappuzha boat house. The driver was good and helpful.
