Day by Day

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrival in Porbandar - Drive to Dwarka - Porbandar (104 Kms / Approx 02 Hrs 30 mint. Drive) +

Arrive at Porbandar and from there drive to the holy city of Dwarka. You will proceed to Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple which is the first stop on Jyotirlinga Darshan. Attend the abhishek ceremony and cleanse your soul. Later return back to Porbandar and overnight stay.

DAY 2 Porbandar – Somnath – Porbandar (131 Kms / Approx 03 Hrs. Drive) +

Today after breakfast, proceed to Somnath Temple which is known to be one of the popular Jyotirlinga temples in India. It is also considered to be one of the richest temples in India during medieval times. Indulge in the Sandhya Aarti which is performed at the temple and will make you feel closer to Lord Shiva. Later proceed for dinner and return to Porbandar for overnight stay.

DAY 3 Porbandar -Flight- Mumbai - Arrival +

After breakfast, proceed to the airport and from there board flight to Mumbai. On arrival, check in to the hotel and overnight stay a Mumbai.

DAY 4 Mumbai – Bhimashankar (203 Kms / Approx 5 Hrs 30 mint. Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and start your drive to Bhimashankar temple for the third Jyotirlinga. Surrounded by blissful natural beauty, Bhimashankar jyotirlinga is a famous temple in India. Experience the spirituality of the place and make the most of your tour. Later visit Bhimashankar wildlife sanctuary and return back by evening for overnight stay.

DAY 5 Bhimashankar – Shirdi – Shani Shingnapur- Aurangabad (331 Kms / Approx 08Hrs 30mint. Drive) +

After breakfast, proceed to Shirdi which is 180 km away from Mumbai. You will be visiting places like Samadhi Mandir, Khandoba temple and Sri Sai Baba Sansthan complex in Shirdi and later proceed to Shani Shingnapur. You will then continue your journey to Aurangabad and on arrival, check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6 Aurangabad - Grishneshwar – Trimbakeshwar / Nashik (203 Kms / Approx 6 Hrs. Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast and later visit Grishneshwar Temple which was built by a shiva devotee who found a treasure hidden in a snake pit. Continue your tour towards Nashik. On arrival, check into the hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Nashik.

DAY 7 Nasik- Trimbakeshwar – Mumbai (166Kms / Approx 3 Hrs 30 mint. Drive) – Ujjain via Indore (stay at Ujjain) - Indore – Ujjain (55 Kms / Approx 01Hrs 30 mint.Drive) +

Today drive towards Trimbakeshwar Temple which is another Jyotirlinga that is dedicated to Lord Shiva. On completing the Darshan, move towards Trimbakeshwar after the breakfast. Reach Mumbai airport and get transferred to Indore and move towards Ujjain via road. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ujjain.

DAY 8 Ujjain – Omkareshwar (140 Kms / Approx 04 Hrs. Drive) +

Head towards Ujjain from Omkareshwar and visit one of the revered Jyotirlinga- the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. Indulge in Bhasma Aarti early in the morning. After the Darshan, move towards Omkareshwar via road. Located at a distance of 4 hours from Ujjain, this jyotirlinga allows you to experience the piousness of the place. Enjoy the Sandhya arti and proceed to hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 9 Omkareshwar – Indore (78Kms / Approx 03 Hrs.Drive) – Delhi By flight +

Today visit Omkareshwar in the morning and attend the Abhishek ceremony and once it is over, return back to the hotel after breakfast. Later check out and drive to Indore and board flight for your onward journey.

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026

It's was a pleasant trip. 6 days and 5 nights - 3 couple. Cover kochi, Kollam and alappuzha boat house. The driver was good and helpful.
