Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Mumbai +

On arrival, meet our representative who will transfer you to your booked hotel. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Mumbai.

DAY 2 Mumbai +

Today after breakfast, head for sightseeing tour where you will visit some of the popular attractions such as Marine Drive, Gateway of India, Juhu Beach, Elephanta Caves, Siddhivinayak Temple. Later return back by evening for an overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3 Mumbai - Nashik (167 Kms / Approx 04 Hrs. Drive) +

Have your breakfast drive to Nasik and on arrival, check in and rest for a while. Begin your sightseeing tour with some of the famous places like Shri Kalaram Sansthan Mandir, Sundarnarayan Temple and Tryambakeshwar Temple. Overnight stay at hotel in Nasik.

DAY 4 Nashik - Shirdi - Aurangabad (210 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

Have your breakfast and leave for Shirdi which is located at a distance of around 183 km from Bhimshankar. Shirdi is a popular tourist attraction and attracts devotees from all over the world. On arriving Shirdi visit Samadhi Mandir, Khandoba Temple and Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Complex. Later drive to Aurangabad and on arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest for a while and later head to visit Bibi ka Maqbara which is a magnificent architecture built by Azam Shah in tribute to this mother. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 5 Aurangabad - Ajanta (95 Kms/ Approx 03 Hrs 45 Mint. Drive) +

Today after breakfast, visit the 30 rock-cut Buddhist attraction-Ajanta Caves. It is a popular tourist attraction that has gained popularity over the years. These caves were discovered by the British officers in 1819 while tiger hunting. Overnight stay at Aurangabad.

DAY 6 Aurangabad-Ellora (30 Kms / Approx 01 Hrs. Drive) -Mumbai +

Have your breakfast and head to visit Ellora Caves which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Buddhist, Hindu and Jain cave temples. Return back to Aurangabad for overnight stay.

DAY 7 Aurangabad - Lonavala (309 Kms / Approx 06 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast and drive to Lonavala via Shani Shingnapur. Head to visit the temple and pay homage to Lord Shanidev. Continue your journey to Lonavala and on arrival, check in and rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 8 Lonavala/ Khandala +

After breakfast, head for sightseeing tour of Lonavala which is a hill station enclosed by green Valleys in Western India. Visit Karla Caves and the Bhaja Caves which are ancient Buddhist shrines carved out of the rock. Return back for overnight stay.

DAY 9 Lonavala - Mumbai (84 Kms / Approx 02 Hrs. Drive) +

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and later drive to Mumbai. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest for a while. Later visit Cross Road, West End, Fashion Street. You can enjoy shopping at the famous markets and buy souvenirs. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 10 Departure +
Your tour will come to an end with your departure to the airport. From there board flight for your onward destination.

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026

It's was a pleasant trip. 6 days and 5 nights - 3 couple. Cover kochi, Kollam and alappuzha boat house. The driver was good and helpful.
