Arrive at Bandaranaike International airport where you will be warmly greeted and later transfer to the booked hotel in Negombo. Check into the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Negombo
Today, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Dambulla which is a 2-hour drive from Negombo. Enroute visit Dambulla Cave Temple which is a huge isolated rock mass which is 500 feet high. Enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel and head for excursion to Trincomalee. This major town in Eastern Sri Lanka is finest in Asia and is known for its deep water harbour. Overlooking the Kottiyar Bay, it is one of the famous centres of Tamil speaking culture and is home to popular Koneswaram Temple. The Trincomalee harbour is popular for its large security and size. The pristine beaches at this town is popular for scuba diving, fishing, whale watching and surfing and is sure to make your tour enthralling and exciting. Return back to the hotel in Dambulla for overnight stay
After breakfast, head to climb Sigiriya rock fortress which is considered to be a World Heritage Site. It is a 5th century rock citadel of King Kasyapa and is a popular tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. Proceed to step through the huge Lion Paws that overlooks the symmetrical royal gardens. You will come across ramparts and frescoes that are related to the Gupta style paintings that resemble those in Ajanta Caves. Continue your tour to the well fabricated museum where you will get to know how the citadel floated above citizens with castle. While climbing the fortress quench your thirst by drinking coconut water and afterwards proceed to visit Polonnaruwa city which is approximately 1.5 hours away. Polonnaruwa is a medieval capital and crown jewel of King Parakramabahu I. Take a stroll across the scattered walls of the heritage site that houses stupas, resting Buddha statues, irrigation canals and carved Hindu sculptures. See the realic house of Watadage that boast of beautiful stone carvings. Take a view at the architecture and statues that are found in this ancient city. Later return back to the hotel for overnight stay at Habarna.
Munch in your breakfast and check out from the hotel to proceed to Kandy which is almost 3 hours drive from Habarna. On arrival, head to visit Temple of the sacred tooth relic. It is a Buddhist temple situated in royal complex of the former kingdom of Kandy that houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. This relic has played an important role since ancient times and is a must visit attraction during your tour to Sri Lanka. Today, you will be heading for sightseeing tour of Kandy where you will be visiting some of the well known places like a gem museum, shopping bazaars, Victoria Golf Course etc. In the evening, enjoy the cultural dance show that features numerous dance types of Sri Lanka. Today, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and later head to visit The Nine Arch Bridge. This beautiful spot is situated in a dense jungle, blessed with picturesque view. The Bridge is one the Demodara loop and spans 91 meters at a height of 24 m. Later head for sightseeing tour of Ella where you will visit the Ella rock that is popular for the cave of Ravana. Visit the beautiful waterfall and make the most of the trip. By evening, return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Kick start your morning with sumptuous breakfast at the hotel and travel to Udawalawa which is approximately 2.5 hours away from Ella. Get ready to enjoy 4X4 jeep safari at the Udawalawa National Park which is famous for its wildlife spotting. Hop onto the jeep safari where visitors will get a chance to see the population of elephants. This national park is set around a huge man made reservoir and you are sure to spot other animals like sambar deer, buffaloes, crocodiles etc. Later by evening, return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and travel to Galle which is 3 hours away from Udawalawe. Enroute head for city tour of Galle where you will be visiting Galle Fort, which was first built by the Portuguese on the South western coast of Sri Lanka. The fort underwent modifications in the 17th century by the Dutch making it one of the most well known historical attractions of Sri Lanka. Our India Tour. On this trip we visited Gujarat, Bengal, Odisha, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. They organised everything for us Whenever we visit India or Sri Lanka, we have used TraEminent Indian tours for their guidance and recommendations and meticulous eye for detail. They had also arranged all internal flights for us. October, 2024.
We recently completed a tour to Kashmir, Amritsar, Shimla, and Manali organised by Traeminent, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The itinerary was very well planned, allowing us to comfortably explore each destination without feeling rushed. Kashmir was absolutely breathtaking — from the serene Dal Lake to the stunning landscapes of Gulmarg. The houseboat stay was a highlight. Amritsar added a spiritual dimension to the trip, with a seamless visit to the Golden Temple and Wagah Border. Shimla and Manali were equally memorable, offering beautiful mountain views, enjoyable local experiences, and well-coordinated sightseeing. The toy train ride in Shimla and the overall hill station experience were particularly special. The logistics throughout the trip were handled efficiently, transport was comfortable, hotels were well chosen, and the support from the Traeminent team was consistent and dependable. We always felt well taken care of. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable journey. Fantastic and memorable trip. We had a fantastic time on our 13 days holiday to north India trip covering Amritsar, rishikesh, Haridwar, Delhi, Ranthambore, bundi and Kota which was organised completely by TraEminent tour company. This trip was excellently planned by Jugmohan to the tee with fantastically clean hotels, very knowledgeable guides and reliable drivers. Thank you to the team for making my trip fun, and memorable. TraEminent India Tours did a great job of our 8 nights n 9 days tour. Hotels especially Pollachi Resort had truly inviting ambience n wonderful friendly staff all round. This is a great company who planned and organised my trip to the Golden Triangle with an additional 2 days in the trip was tailor made to my requirements and flight times. Excellent pre-engagement before the trip by email and WhatsApp. I was allocated a driver for the week called Sandeep who I would say is one of the best drivers in India. He got me safely and efficiently from place to place throughout the trip. All guides in each location were excellent and made the trip all the more memorable. Special mention to the guide and driver at Ranthambore fort who were good fun and encouraged me to run back to the jeep as a tiger was sighted nearby. Drove at speed and missed the tiger but got to see a leopard which was awesome. Also guide at Agra who got me there nice and early that I more or less had the Taj Mahal to myself! In conclusion this company deserves maximum rating for such a brilliant week from start to finish. Their price for the package was also competitive compared to other companies I will definitely use this company for my next trip to India. November, 2025.
