Enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel and head for excursion to Trincomalee. This major town in Eastern Sri Lanka is finest in Asia and is known for its deep water harbour. Overlooking the Kottiyar Bay, it is one of the famous centres of Tamil speaking culture and is home to popular Koneswaram Temple. The Trincomalee harbour is popular for its large security and size. The pristine beaches at this town is popular for scuba diving, fishing, whale watching and surfing and is sure to make your tour enthralling and exciting. Return back to the hotel in Dambulla for overnight stay
After breakfast, head to climb Sigiriya rock fortress which is considered to be a World Heritage Site. It is a 5th century rock citadel of King Kasyapa and is a popular tourist attraction in Sri Lanka. Proceed to step through the huge Lion Paws that overlooks the symmetrical royal gardens. You will come across ramparts and frescoes that are related to the Gupta style paintings that resemble those in Ajanta Caves. Continue your tour to the well fabricated museum where you will get to know how the citadel floated above citizens with castle. While climbing the fortress quench your thirst by drinking coconut water and afterwards proceed to visit Polonnaruwa city which is approximately 1.5 hours away. Polonnaruwa is a medieval capital and crown jewel of King Parakramabahu I. Take a stroll across the scattered walls of the heritage site that houses stupas, resting Buddha statues, irrigation canals and carved Hindu sculptures. See the realic house of Watadage that boast of beautiful stone carvings. Take a view at the architecture and statues that are found in this ancient city. Later return back to the hotel for overnight stay at Habarna.
Munch in your breakfast and check out from the hotel to proceed to Kandy which is almost 3 hours drive from Habarna. On arrival, head to visit Temple of the sacred tooth relic. It is a Buddhist temple situated in royal complex of the former kingdom of Kandy that houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. This relic has played an important role since ancient times and is a must visit attraction during your tour to Sri Lanka. Today, you will be heading for sightseeing tour of Kandy where you will be visiting some of the well known places like a gem museum, shopping bazaars, Victoria Golf Course etc. In the evening, enjoy the cultural dance show that features numerous dance types of Sri Lanka. Today, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and later head to visit The Nine Arch Bridge. This beautiful spot is situated in a dense jungle, blessed with picturesque view. The Bridge is one the Demodara loop and spans 91 meters at a height of 24 m. Later head for sightseeing tour of Ella where you will visit the Ella rock that is popular for the cave of Ravana. Visit the beautiful waterfall and make the most of the trip. By evening, return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Kick start your morning with sumptuous breakfast at the hotel and travel to Udawalawa which is approximately 2.5 hours away from Ella. Get ready to enjoy 4X4 jeep safari at the Udawalawa National Park which is famous for its wildlife spotting. Hop onto the jeep safari where visitors will get a chance to see the population of elephants. This national park is set around a huge man made reservoir and you are sure to spot other animals like sambar deer, buffaloes, crocodiles etc. Later by evening, return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Enroute head for city tour of Galle where you will be visiting Galle Fort, which was first built by the Portuguese on the South western coast of Sri Lanka. We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent. July, 2026

It's was a pleasant trip. 6 days and 5 nights - 3 couple. Cover kochi, Kollam and alappuzha boat house. The driver was good and helpful. All hotel- casino kochi and fragrant nature Kollam was too good. Boathouse experience was great too. The helper Abu in boathouse cooked super fast and delicious food( chicken, prawn,fish and crab). We recently completed a tour to Kashmir, Amritsar, Shimla, and Manali organised by Traeminent, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The itinerary was very well planned, allowing us to comfortably explore each destination without feeling rushed. Kashmir was absolutely breathtaking — from the serene Dal Lake to the stunning landscapes of Gulmarg. The houseboat stay was a highlight. Amritsar added a spiritual dimension to the trip, with a seamless visit to the Golden Temple and Wagah Border. Shimla and Manali were equally memorable, offering beautiful mountain views, enjoyable local experiences, and well-coordinated sightseeing. The toy train ride in Shimla and the overall hill station experience were particularly special. The logistics throughout the trip were handled efficiently, transport was comfortable, hotels were well chosen, and the support from the Traeminent team was consistent and dependable. We always felt well taken care of. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable journey.
