Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Delhi – Arrival +
Welcome to India. Our representative will pick and you and transfer you to your booked accommodation. On arrival, check in at the the hotel and rest for the day. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.
DAY 2 Delhi – Sightseeing +
Have your breakfast and head for sightseeing tour which includes places like Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat. Drive through Rashtrapati Bhawan and the day will end with a visit to Qutub Minar. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.
DAY 3 Delhi – Haridwar (4-5 Hours Drive) +

Today after breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Haridwar. Enroute, visit the Sati Kunth and Daksh Mahadev Temple. On arrival, check-in at hotel and after freshen up, proceed to visit Mansa Devi & Chandi Devi Temple by cable car (own cost). Later in the evening, visit Har-ki-Pauri for Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay at hotel in Haridwar.

DAY 4 Haridwar – Rishikesh – Haridwar (45 Minutes Drive) +
Today after breakfast, drive to Rishikesh. On reaching, visit the Laxmanjhula, Laxman Temple, Trambakeshwar Temple, Ramjhula, Gita Bhawan & Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Later, head to the Neelkanth Temple. In the evening, attend Ganga aarti at Triveni Ghat. Return to Haridwar. Overnight stay at hotel in Haridwar.
DAY 5 Haridwar – Dehradun (1.5 Hours Drive) – Chandigarh (5 Hours Drive) +
Today after breakfaast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Dehradun. On reaching, visit the Tapkeshwar temple and Lacchiwala waterfalls. Later, drive to Chandigarh and enroute, visit the Mata Mansa Devi Mandir. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Chandigarh.
DAY 6 Chandigarh – Naina Devi (2.5 Hours Drive) – Chintpurni (3 Hours Drive) +
After early breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit famous Rose Garden and Rock Garden. Later, drive to the Shri Nainadevi Temple, You can reach the temple via the concrete stairs or using cable car (own cost). Drive to the Chintpurni Temple. Overnight stay at hotel in Chintpurni.
DAY 7 Chintpurni – Jwala Ji (1 Hour Drive) – Kangra Devi (1.5 Hours Drive) – Dharamshala (45 Minutes Drive) +

Today after breakfast, checkout from the hotel and visit the famous Beas River. Drive to Dharamshala and enroute, visit the Mata Jwala Devi and Brijeshwari Temples. Continue journey to Dharamshala. On reaching, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Dharamshala.

DAY 8 Dharamashala – Sightseeing +
After breakfast, visit the Chamunda Devi Temple in morning. In afternoon, take a tour to Dalai Lama Monastery, Bhagsu Nag Temple, etc. Overnight stay at hotel in Dharamshala.
DAY 9 Dharamashala – Katra (6-7 Hours Drive) +

Enjoy leisure breakfast in morning. Checkout from the hotel. Drive to Katra. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Katra.

DAY 10 Katra – Holy Darshan Yatra +

After early morning breakfast, proceed for Darshan by foot or Ponies (to be arranged directly) OR by Chopper(Not included). After Darshan, leave by Chopper / Ponies for journey back to Katra. Day free at leisure after darshan. Overnight stay at hotel in Katra.

Note: Pony/Palki can be booked directly, however for Helicopter tickets we need to book it in advance and tickets are subject to availability.

DAY 11 Katra – Amritsar (6-7 Hours Drive) +

Enjoy leisure breakfast in morning. Checkout from the hotel. Drive to Amritsar. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Amritsar.

DAY 12 Amritsar – Sightseeing with Wagah Border +
Wake up and enjoy early morning breakfast. Visit the Golden Temple and Jalian Wala Bagh. Later, proceed for Wagah Border Beating Retreat Ceremony in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel in Amritsar.
DAY 13 Amritsar – Kurukshetra (4.5 Hours Drive) +

After early breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Kurukshetra. On arrival, visit Brahma Sarovar, Jyotisar and Staneshwar Mahadev Temple. Overnight stay at hotel in Kurukshetra.

DAY 14 Kurukshetra – Vrindavan (6-7 Hours Drive) +
After early breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Vrindavan. On reaching, check-in at the hotel and after some relaxation, visit the Nidhivan, Prem Mandir and Banke Bihari Mandir. Overnight stay at hotel in Vrindavan.
DAY 15 Vrindavan – Mathura and Barsana +

Today after breakfast, head to Mathura. On reaching, enjoy a boat ride at Vishram Ghat and visit the famous Krishna Janambhumi Complex, Dwarkadhish Temple, Krishna Janmbhoomi Temple and Kans Mahal. In afternoon, proceed to Barsana where you visit the beautiful Radha Rani temple (Ladliji Temple), Man Mandir and Mor Kutir. Drive back to Vrindavan. Overnight stay at hotel in Vrindavan.

Note: All temples remain closed between 12 Noon to 1700 hrs.
 

DAY 16 Vrindavan – Gokul (45 Minutes Drive) – Govardhan (1 Hour Drive) – Agra (2 Hours Drive) +

Have early breakfast, checkout from the hotel. Visit the Bansi Ghat and later, drive to Gokul to visit the Gokul Nath Ji Temple. Continue the tour with drive to Mahavan to visit the ‘Assi Khambha’ dedicated to Mathura Nath Ji. Drive to Govardhan and visit the Giriraj Temple here. Later, drive to Agra. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

DAY 17 Agra – Sightseeing +
Wake up and settle for breakfast. Later, visit the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb. In the evening, enjoy a local shopping spree at local bazaars. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.
DAY 18 Agra – Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (5-6 Hours Drive) +

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026

It's was a pleasant trip. 6 days and 5 nights - 3 couple. Cover kochi, Kollam and alappuzha boat house. The driver was good and helpful.
