Today after breakfast, get ready for city tour of Kathmandu. The capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu is also known as Kantipur and is a well known tourist site that has seen many people from all over the world. In the first half of your sightseeing tour, you will be visiting the temple of the Living Goddess, Kathmandu Durbar Square which is overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace which is an ancient place of the Nepalese Royalty. Next you will head to Swayambhunath which is situated approximately 4 km from the city. Said to be 2000 years old, this Buddhist Stupa is a major tourist site that has attracted tourists from everywhere. This magnificent structure houses solid hemisphere of brick and earth that supports a conical spire which is capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Rest for a while and later get ready to explore some other famous attractions of the city. In the evening, you will be heading to Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath which are yet another tourist places in Nepal. We have just returned from a trip to Arangabad, Hampi and Badami. I found TraEminent on Trustpilot and whatsapped them and got an immediate reply from Sunny, who listened to what we wanted to do then passed us to his colleague Prachi to organise our trip. Prachi sent suggestions of different hotels and also suggested we added Badami to our itinery, which was an excellent suggestion. She organised hotels, drivers, guides and internal flights. Our hotel vouchers and internal flight bar codes were sent to us via email. We paid for the trip in 3 installments, the final one being on the day we arrivec in India. Our contact once the trip was organised and whilst we were in India was Mukesh. Prachi also created a group Whatsapp for herself, Mukesh, my husband and myself. As the holiday neared the war in Iran started and up until the day we travelled we were not sure we would be able to travel and Mukesh was excellent in starting to secure refunds and vouchers. But fortunately on the day we were able to travel, although due to late setting off and extra travel time we missed our connection from Delhi to Aurangabad and had to travel early the next morning. I contacted Mukesh who rearranged the pickup from the airport. Mukesk kept in contact with us daily for the duration of the trip and informed us of each drivers and car details the day before the pick up. We had 2 drivers, Aleem for Aurangabad and Ram for Hampi and Badami, both were excellent and the cars were comfortable. Our guides were excellent and very knowledgeable. The hotels were exactley what we wanted and the intetnal flights with Indigo were ideal time wise. We had the best 10 day tour. Thank you TraEminent for you help, patience and communication. My son wanted to visit India and I contacted Tra-Eminent India Tours to book a holiday for us. We absolutely enjoyed the Golden Triangle tour with Haridwar and Rishikesh along with birth place of Lord Krishna- Mathura/Vrindavan. The elephant ride at Amer Fort was simply amazing. We also visited the Taj Mahal in Agra. The last days of the trip were spent in Haridwar and Rishikesh. We witnessed the Ganga Aarti and felt the holy vibes flowing in.
