Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Bangalore-Mysore (144 Kms / Approx 04 Hrs. Drive) +

Arrive at Bangalore airport and meet our guide who will transfer you to Mysore. The city is known to be the cultural capital of Karnataka. It is considered to be famous for its Mysore silk, incense products and sandalwood. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax for a while. Head to visit Mysore Palace that exhibits colourful, thrilling art and architecture. Overnight stay at Mysore.

DAY 2 Mysore-Coorg +

Today after breakfast, drive to Coorg which is known to be the coffee and spice producing hill station of India. Coorg is known for its exotic scenery, warm hospitality and breathtaking adventures. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Coorg.

DAY 3 Coorg +

Have your breakfast and proceed for half day tour of Coorg where you will cover coffee plantations, orange orchards and green paddy fields. Today you will visit some of the popular attractions like Madikeri which is the largest town in Coorg. Visit the sprawling Madikeri fortress which was built in the 17th century by Rajas of Coorg. Then head to visit Lord Omkareshwara, a famous religious destination that shows both Hindu and Islamic styles of architecture. Overnight stay at Coorg.

DAY 4 Coorg - Wayanad (132 Kms / Approx 04 Hrs. Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast and drive to Wayanad which is your next stop on this tour. Situated among the lush mountains of the Western Ghats, Wayanad is truly a haven for nature lovers. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest for a while. Later visit the Lakkidi viewpoint which is a gateway to Wayanad. Next visit Pookat Lake which is a natural fresh-water lake. DAY 5 Wayanad +

Today after breakfast, head to visit Wayanad wildlife sanctuary where you will get to see wildlife such as elephants, gaur, spotted deer, sambar, langaur, giant squirrels, wild dog, birds, tiger etc. Overnight stay at Wayanad.

DAY 6 Wayand - Kochi (260 Kms / approx 08 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

After breakfast, drive to Kochi which is your next point in this tour. On arrival, check into the hotel and spend the day exploring the old buildings, busy markets of Fort Cochin. Fort Cochin where the Portuguese flag was first hoisted and is also believed to be the oldest settlement in India. Return back for overnight stay.

DAY 7 Kochi +

After breakfast, get ready to explore the beautiful city of Cochin. Head to visit the famous Chinese fishing nets, St.Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, Mattancherry, Fort Kochi Area. Explore the spice market where you can find numerous samples of spices, out in the open. By evening get ready to enjoy the Kathakali show performance that will lend you insight into the cultural side of the state. Overnight stay at Kochi.

DAY 8 Kochi - Munnar (127 kms / Approx 04 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast and drive to Munnar which is named after three Rivers- Madhurapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundaly. Munnar is known to be a popular honeymoon destination in Kerala that exhibits stunning views of tea and spice plantations. Spend your day exploring the hill station and overnight stay in Munnar.

DAY 9 Munnar +

Today after breakfast, proceed to a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit popular places like Tea Museum, Munnar Tea estate, Mattupetty Dam, Eravikulam National Park. Overnight stay at Munnar.

DAY 10 Munnar-Thekkady (91 Kms / Approx 03 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast and head to Thekkady which is situated in the Western Ghats in Kerala. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. Later enjoy boat ride at the Periyar Lake and in the evening, watch the Kalaripayattu which is an ancient Indian arts martial arts. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

DAY 11 Thekkady - Alleppey (138 Kms / Approx 04 Hrs. Drive) +

Have your breakfast and drive to Alleppey which is a 4-hour drive from Thekkady. On arrival, check into your houseboat. Enjoy the beautiful and scenic backwaters of Alleppey while you enjoy the unique experience of the houseboat. Overnight stay at the houseboat.

DAY 12 Alleppey-Marari Beach (15 Kms / Approx 45 Mint. Drive) +

Munch in your breakfast and drive to Marari Beach which is located on the Malabar Coast and is a beach lover’s paradise. Rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Marari.

DAY 13 Marari - Kochi (41 Kms / Approx 01 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

Have your breakfast and later meet our representative who will transfer you to Cochin airport. From there board flight for your onward destination and take back home lifetime of memories.

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026
