Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Ahmedabad – Arrival +

On arrival at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, our representative will meet and greet you and transfer to hotel. On arrival, check -in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Ahmedabad.

DAY 2 Ahmedabad – Sightseeing +

After breakfast, head for local city tour covering visits to the Calico Museum – (Wednesday & Public Holidays are Closed), Adalaj Step Well, Sabarmati Gandhi Ashram. You would also visit the Sidi Sayyid Mosque and the Institute of Indology. In the evening, spend time at the Sabarmati Riverfront located on the banks of Narmada River. Overnight stay at hotel in Ahmedabad.

DAY 3 Ahmedabad – Patan – Modhera – Dasada (205 Kms / 4 Hours Drive) +

After breakfast,check out from the hotel. Drive to Dasada; en-route visit the the Rani Ki Vav in Patan and the Sun temple of Modhera. Continue drive to Dasada. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Dasada.

DAY 4 Dasada – Bhuj (280 Kms / 6 Hours Drive) +

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Head to the Little Rann of Kutch Sanctuary. Later, drive to Bhuj. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Bhuj.

DAY 5 Bhuj – Sightseeing +

After breakfast, proceed for Bhuj sightseeing tour. Visit the Kutch Museum, Aina Mahal, Prag Mahal and Cenotaphs Complex. Overnight stay at hotel in Bhuj.

DAY 6 Bhuj – Banni Village Excursion +

Enjoy morning breakfast. Later, head to the Banni Village (Prior Permission required). Next, visit the Hodka Village and the Dhordo village. Overnight stay at hotel in Bhuj.

DAY 7 Bhuj – Mandvi (60 Kms / 1 Hour Drive) +

After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Mandvi. You would visit the Vijay Vilas Palace, the Swaminarayan temple, the Saifi Girls High School and the new lighthouse. Overnight stay at hotel in Mandvi.

DAY 8 Mandvi – Gondal (325 Kms / 7 Hours Drive) +

After early breakfast, check out from the hotel, Drive to Gondal. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Visit the famous colonial mansion, the Riverside Palace of Gondal and the 18th century Naulakha Palace (oldest palace of Gondal). Overnight stay at heritage hotel in Gondal.

DAY 9 Gondal – Junagadh Excursion (65 Kms / 1 Hour Drive) +

After breakfast, drive to Junagadh. On arrival, visit the attractions of Junagadh city covering the Mohabbat Maqbara, Uperkot Fort and the Darbar Hall Museum. Drive back to Gondal. Overnight stay at hotel in Gondal.

DAY 10 Gondal – Ahmedabad (260 Kms / 6 Hours Drive) – Overnight train to Udaipur +

After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Ahmedabad. On arrival, check in at the hotel and take rest. Later in evening, check out from hotel and transfer to Ahmedabad railway station to board overnight train to Udaipur. Overnight stay in train to Udaipur.

DAY 11 Udaipur – Arrival + Sightseeing +

Today morning, on arrival at Udaipur railway station, meet our representative and transfer to hotel. After breakfast, proceed for full-day tour of Udaipur. Udaipur is a well-known city that boasts of many royal residences. The city exhibits glimpses of glory, richness, and grandeur of Rajasthan making it a famous tourist attraction for domestic and international travelers.

Head to visit the famous City Palace followed by Sahelion-ki-Bari, Jagdish Temple, Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum and lastly, the Jagmandir Palace which are some of the famous tourist attractions of Udaipur. Later in the evening, get ready for a boat ride in Lake Pichola and treat your eyes with the alluring beauty and beautiful sunset vistas. Overnight stay at Hotel in Udaipur.

DAY 12 Udaipur – Jodhpur (250 Kms / 5 Hours Drive) via Ranakpur +

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive to Jodhpur. Enroute, visit the Ranakpur Jain temple which is known to be made of pure white marble. Continue drive to Jodhpur. Upon reaching, check in at the hotel. Spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Jodhpur.

DAY 13 Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (285 Kms / 7 Hours Drive) +

After breakfast, visit the stunning Mehrangarh Fort and the Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph built to commemorate Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Later, visit the Mandore garden. Proceed to jaisalmer. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaisalmer.

DAY 14 Jaisalmer – Sightseeing +

After breakfast, head for half-day sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer.Visit the Jaisalmer Fort, Salim Singh ki Haveli and Patwon-ki-Haveli followed by a visit to Nathmal Ji ki Haveli. Later, visit Gadisar Lake and the Vyas Chhatri is also known as sunset point. Later in evening, visit the Sam Sand Dunes for a camel safari. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaisalmer.

DAY 15 Jaisalmer – Delhi (By Flight) +

After breakfast, check out from hotel. Transfer to Jaisalmer airport to board flight to Delhi. On arrival, meet our representative at Indira Gandhi International Airport and thereafter, transfer to hotel. Check in at the hotel. Day spent at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

DAY 16 Delhi – Departure +

After breakfast, our driver will pick you from the hotel and drop-off at Delhi airport to board flight back home.

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026

It's was a pleasant trip. 6 days and 5 nights - 3 couple. Cover kochi, Kollam and alappuzha boat house. The driver was good and helpful.
