Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrive Mumbai to Nashik +
Welcome to Mumbai "The City of Dreams". On arrival the driver will meet you at the airport and directly proceed to Nashik. Check in and relax. Overnight stay in Nashik.
DAY 2 Nashik +
Today after early breakfast , proceed to visit Trimbakeswar Temple, Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is a famous attraction and a number of devotees visit every year. Come back to Nashik and visit Sita Gufa, Shri Kalaram Temple, Muktidham Mandir, Pandav Leni Caves. Later come back to the hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 3 Nashik – Shirdi (2 Hours Drive) +
Today, proceed to Shirdi, upon arrival check in at the hotel and relax. After freshen up, proceed to Shirdi Sai Temple and nearby areas. Later come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 4 Shirdi – Shani Shingnapur (1.5 Hours Drive) to Aurangabad (2 Hours Drive) +
After leisure breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to visit Shani Shingnapur. Shani Shingnapur Temple is a Jeet Devasthan (alive temple), well-known for the magical and powerful Lord Shani, who is believed to reside in a black stone till date. The trust of people in the lord is so strong that none of the houses in the wondrous village has doors and locks as people believe that Lord Shani is protecting their valuables from thieves. Later continue drive to Aurangabad. Check in at the hotel upon arrival and relax. Overnight stay.
DAY 5 Visit To Grishneshwar Temple & Ellora Caves +
Today proceed to visit another Jyotirlinga Grishneshwar Temple. Also known as the Ghushmeshwar Temple, is a Hindu temple in Ellora, Maharashtra, India that is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, or "lingas of light", that are revered manifestations of Mahadev in Sanatan Dharma. Then visit the famous Ellora Caves. Later come back to Aurangabad for an overnight stay.
DAY 6 Ajanta Caves (2.5 Hours Drive / One Way) +

Morning after breakfast proceed for a full day Ajanta Caves Tour. Ajanta Caves are at a 3 hours distance from Aurangabad. So on the second day tour of Aurangabad, we will take you to Ajanta Caves. These are 30 rock – cut Buddhist caves from the 2nd century. Basically a kind of Buddhist college, these represent Buddhism in every stage. Look here for Entrance at Cave no 19 which is huge, wall paintings of Padmapani and Vajrapani, dancing in Ajanta Fresco and a copy of Lady Herringham. Drive back to the hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 7 Aurangabad Tour +
Today visit Daulatabad Fort, Salim Ali Lake, Bibi Ka Maqbara and later explore the colorful market. Overnight stay in Aurangabad.
DAY 8 Aurangabad – Pune (6 Hours Drive) +
After leisure breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Pune. On arrival check in at the hotel and relax. Evening explore the colorful market. Overnight stay.
DAY 9 Pune Tour +
Today visit famous Shaniwar Wada, Darshan Museum, The Dagadusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple and Sinhagad Fort. Later come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 10 Pune Tour & Drive Mumbai (3 Hours Drive) +

After early breakfast, check out and proceed to visit Aga Khan Palace, Pataleshwar Cave Temple, Parvati Hill Temple, and Okayama Friendship Garden is a beautiful Japanese-style garden. It is also known as Pu La Deshpande Udyan. It was built in 1996. This Japanese-style garden symbolises the strong bond of friendship between Pune and its sister city, Okayama in Japan. Later in the afternoon get driven back to Mumbai. On arrival check in and relax. Overnight stay.

DAY 11 Mumbai Tour +
Start your day with a visit to Victoria Terminus, which has been designed inspired from St Pancras Station in London. Victoria Terminus has magnificent decoration of carved stone, flying walls and stained glass windows. Then proceed towards the popular Gateway of India, Nariman point - the most important business center in Mumbai and then to Marine Drive. At Marine Drive, you can breathe fresh air and get the view of sunset. After that a visit to The biggest museum in India is next door - the Prince of Wales Museum and Mani Bhawan (Mahatma Gandhi’s old Mumbai residence). From there you will be taken to experience the uniqueness of Mumbai at Dhobi ghat (Open laundry). Evening enjoy shopping at the colorful market of Mumbai. Overnight Stay.
DAY 12 Departure +
After breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel. Transfer to airport to board flight back home.

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026
