This summer retreat to Lakah is planned to give you a relaxed and complete travel experience. Our tour covers Leh and nearby areas including famous monasteries, scenic villages and natural attractions. It also allows enough time for rest and adaptation, which is important in high-altitude regions. Whether you choose a Ladakh trip in June for pleasant weather or in July for road trips, our well-planned itinerary offers a smooth journey. It balances sightseeing, nature, culture and easy exploration for a stress-free vacation.

Signature Highlights of Our Ladakh Retreat

Our tour includes some of the most stunning and meaningful places in Ladakh for a memorable experience:

Likir Monastery

Likir Monastery or Likir Gompa is a Buddhist monastery in Ladakh. This place is well known for its calm atmosphere and huge golden statue of Buddha. From this monastery, travelers get stunning views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Likir Monastery is peaceful and less crowded which makes it ideal for quiet exploration. It lets visitors learn about old Buddhist traditions, see prayer halls and relax in the spiritual atmosphere. This monastery is a popular place to visit for travelers who are interested in history, culture and scenic beauty.

Magnetic Hill

Magnetic Hill is one of the most interesting and fun attractions of Ladkah. At this spot, vehicles appear to move uphill on their own which creates a surprising experience for travelers. Many travelers stop here to test this natural illusion and take photos. Magnetic hill is surrounded by open landscapes and mountains. It is a quick and enjoyable break during the journey. This hill is especially popular with families and first-time visitors exploring Ladakh.

Gurudwara Pathar Sahib

Gurudwara Pathar Sahib is a peaceful and sacred place located along the Leh-Kargil road. It is an important religious site and is visited by people from all faiths. This Gurudwara is surrounded by mountains and offers a calm and spiritual atmosphere. Travelers can learn about its history, offer prayers and enjoy simple meals served here. It is a meaningful stop that adds spiritual value and quiet reflection to your Ladakh journey.

Lamayuru Monastery

Lamayuru Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh and is famous for its unique surroundings. The landscape around it looks like the surface of the moon which gives it a special charm. This makes Lamayuru a favorite spot for photography lovers. This monastery itself is peaceful and rich in history. Visiting Lamayuru during a Ladakh tour in May offers a mix of culture, spirituality and stunning natural views that leaves a lasting impression.

Alchi Monastery

Alchi Monastery is known for its ancient wall paintings and unique architecture. Unlike most monasteries, it is located at ground level which makes it easy to visit. The artwork inside reflects old Buddhist traditions and is very well preserved. Alchi is an important cultural and historical site in Ladakh. It is perfect for travelers interested in history, art and learning about the spiritual heritage of Ladakh.

Hall of Fame Museum

The Hall of Fame Museum is a moving and informative place that showcases the bravery of Indian soldiers. It tells the story of the military history of Ladakh through photographs, displays and stories. Travelers learn about life in high-altitude regions and the sacrifices made by the army. The museum also offers beautiful mountain views outside. It is a meaningful stop that adds knowledge and respect to your Ladakh travel experience.

Pangong Lake

Pangong Lake is one of the most beautiful and unforgettable places in Ladakh. This lake is famous for its clear blue water that changes color throughout the day. It is surrounded by mountains and offers a peaceful and magical view. Visiting Pangong Lake during a Ladakh tour in June is ideal because the weather is pleasant. Spending time here, taking photos and enjoying the silence makes it the highlight of the entire trip.

What Our Travellers Say

View All Reviews

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok, nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026

We recently completed a tour to Kashmir, Amritsar, Shimla, and Manali organised by Traeminent, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The itinerary was very well planned, allowing us to comfortably explore each destination without feeling rushed. Kashmir was absolutely breathtaking — from the serene Dal Lake to the stunning landscapes of Gulmarg. The houseboat stay was a highlight. Amritsar added a spiritual dimension to the trip, with a seamless visit to the Golden Temple and Wagah Border. Shimla and Manali were equally memorable, offering beautiful mountain views, enjoyable local experiences, and well-coordinated sightseeing. The toy train ride in Shimla and the overall hill station experience were particularly special. The logistics throughout the trip were handled efficiently, transport was comfortable, hotels were well chosen, and the support from the Traeminent team was consistent and dependable. We always felt well taken care of. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable journey. I would highly recommend Traeminent to anyone looking for a well-organised and enriching travel experience.
