The next stop is Uttarkashi which is a peaceful hill town near the Bhagirathi River. From here, you will travel to Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga. After that, the journey continues towards Guptkashi which is the basepoint of the Kedarnath visit. From Gaurikund, devotees begin the trek to Kedarnath Temple. After darshan at Kedarnath Temple, this tour moves towards Joshimath and then to Badrinath Temple. Finally, you return via Rudraprayag back to Delhi. Haridwar is a holy city where River Ganga enters the plans. You will attend the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri where lamps, prayers and chants create a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. You will also stroll through local markets of Haridwar.
Uttarkashi is a calm mountain town located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. It is surrounded by hills and natural beauty which makes it an important stop in this journey. Here, you will visit the popular Vishwanath Temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Gangotri Temple is dedicated to Goddess Ganga and it is one of the sacred Char Dham sites. It is believed to mark the origin of the holy River Ganga. The calm surroundings make your visit spiritually uplifting and meaningful.
It is a small and peaceful town surrounded by mountains. Pilgrims stay here before heading towards Kedarnath. The peaceful environment and scenic views make it a comfortable stop.
From Gaurikund, you will begin the trek to Kedarnath Temple which is about 16 to 18 km. The path passes through beautiful valleys and rivers. Kedarnath Temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and holds deep spiritual importance.

Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Visnu and it is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India. This temple is surrounded by tall mountains and flowing rivers. You will take a holy dip in Tapt Kund before entering the temple for darshan. Visiting here provides a calm and divine feeling. You will also explore popular attractions including Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Mata Murti Temple and Mana Village.
It is the sacred meeting point of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Here, you will visit some of the popular tourist places such as Sri Tunganath Temple, Rudraprayag Sangam, Kempty Falls and Koteshwar Mahadev. Rudraprayag is an important spiritual stop during the return journey.

After morning breakfast, drive to Gangotri. Enroute, take a holy dip in Garam Kund at Gangnani Hot water springs. Continue drive to Gangotri via the beautiful Harsil Valley. North India Tour. Our trip in 2018 of north India did not go according to plan. We were scheduled to visit kedarnath mandir on the opening day in May 2018. On arrival we were advised that the mandir will remain closed to the public on the first day, due to the PM of India visiting on the first day. As a result of this and poor weather conditions no helicopter tickets were not available. We were forced to change our itinerary. With the help of Sunny of Tra-eminent India Tours we were able to do this. Sunny went the extra mile to reschedule our itinerary so that we completed our holiday. Personalised tour. The tour was well organised by Sunny and Mukesh. Flights booked/ hotels chosen and the final price was reasonable. The drivers they arranged in each city were professional/ clean reliable cars. We opted for the sedan car which was comfortable for the two of us.
