The Panna National Park is located in close proximity to Khajuraho. It is a popular wildlife reserve for tiger sightings and other fauna including Cheetah, Chinkara, Wild Boar and Jackal etcetera. You can go for an early morning and evening jungle safaris to enjoy rare sights of India’s royal tiger and other species too.
 
This national park was awarded with the Award of Excellence in 2007 by the Ministry of Tourism of India, as it prohibits poaching activities. A jungle safari in this tiger reserve is a must try once and the best time visit would be December to March as there is a salubrious climate during this time.
