On arrival at the airport, meet our guide who will transfer you to your booked hotel. Freshen up and rest for a while and later get ready for city tour of Aurangabad. Visit the famous Aurangabad Caves which are artificial caves that were dug out from the soft rock in the 6th and 7th century. Head to visit Bibi Ka Maqbara which is the burial place of Aurangzeb’s first wife. Visit the archaeological museum which is located nearby. Return back by evening for overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel and you will be heading for full-day excursion to Ajanta Caves. Ajanta is 107 km from Aurangabad, and 60 km from Jalgaon. A cluster of 32 Buddhist caves not far from a homonymous medieval village, the site is a protected monument in the Archeological Survey of India. The Ajanta Caves have also been declared UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. Paintings are on the walls of caves, many of which still shimmers with their original colors. The outside walls are shrouded in brilliantly executed sculptures. By evening return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Munch in your breakfast at the hotel and head for excursion to Ellora Caves which is considered to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ellora Caves are a total of 34 monasteries that belong to three different religions- Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. The Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines that is situated in Ellora Caves. While on the way back, visit Daulatabad Fort which is one of the most powerful forts of the medieval Deccan. Later get transferred to the airport and board flight for your onward destination.
