Andaman & Nicobar Islands lie outside the Indian mainland, in the Bay of Bengal. Known as the Jewel of the ocean, this necklace of islands promises the adventure of a lifetime. This region is a beach paradise, with some of the most beautiful beaches of India, surrounded by lush green hilly slopes. Interspersed are the ruins of the mini city of the British imperialist times.

This huge building dating back to 1906, consists of several small rooms. The Sound and Light Show is a journey, showcasing the horrors, trials and tribulations that were inflicted upon them and their indomitable spirit in the face of all these atrocities. But an altogether world full of exciting beaches lies a few minutes’ drive from the jail. One can enjoy a variety of water sports on Corby’s Cove beach. Ross Island has an interesting mix of ruins of the erstwhile British and Japanese structures, laced with tropical lush greenery. The Havelock Island, which lies just 38 km from Port Blair is the treasure trove of beautiful Islands. Radhanagar Beach, the most beautiful beach in Asia and the serene Kalapathar Beach are some amazing experiences on this Island.
