Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Hanoi – Arrival +
Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport. Meet and greet with our guide. Transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight stay at hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 2 Hanoi – Full Day Sightseeing +
Day starts with refreshing breakfast at hotel. Today, visit the star attractions of Hanoi: Ho Chi Minh Complex, Temple of Literature, One Pillar Pagoda. Tour continues with museums of choice namely: the Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Vietnamese History, the Museum of Revolution, the Museum of Military History or the Museum of Ethnology. Later, visit the Hoan Kiem Lake - the central point of Hanoi. In the evening, spend time atr leisure or shop at the Old Quarter of 36 ancient streets.
DAY 3 Hanoi – Ha Long +
Wake up early morning for pickup at 8 AM for transfer to Ha Long Bay. Stopover at a local handicraft workshop to explore fine clothes and embroidered paintings. Continue drive to Ha Long Bay. Upon arrival, get welcomed with a drink as you get onboard. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch on board while enjoying the mighty Ha Long Bay views. As you cruise through, enjoy close sightings of Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sail Island. Stopover at Sung Sot Cave for exploration and a swimming session at Titov Beach. Return to the cruise and soak in the gorgeous sunset. Go fishing at 9 PM and settle for dinner after. Overnight at cruise in Ha Long Bay.
DAY 4 Ha Long – Danang +
Wake up early and eat breakfast at hotel. Next, cruise to the human head shaped island and the Tortoise Island. Later, take a tour of the Bai Tu Long Bay. Now it's time to checkout after lunch on board. Deboard the cruise, transfer to Hanoi Airport for flight to Danang.
DAY 5 Da Nang – Day Tour of Ba Na Hills +
Today after breakfast, get pumped up for a full-day adventure to the Ba Na Hills. Enjoy a scenic cable car ride from Suoi Mo Station to Marseille Station taking in the stunning mountain and forest views as you go higher. Once you reach the top, take a leisurely walk across the iconic Golden Bridge, letting the stunning views and surreal setting leave you in awe. Next, head over to the serene Linh Ung Pagoda, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Da Nang Beach. Wrap up your day with a visit to Le Jardin wineries, where you'll discover the fascinating process behind traditional wine-making. Next, visit the Chua Mountain, trail of Dreaming stream, Rainbow Waterfall, Suspension Bridge, Golden Valley, and ruined Opera House. Settle for lunch at local restaurant. Return to the cable car station at Ba Na Mountain. From here, drive back to hotel in Hanoi and recharge for the next day.
DAY 6 Hoi An – Full Day Sightseeing +
Wake up and after breakfast at hotel, it's time for a tour of the Cam Thanh village. Here you will learn traditional fishing techniques and how to row unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat, fishing and catch the crabs, coconut mussel while exploring tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways. Next, head to Hoi An where you would visit the famous Chinese Assembly Hall & Temples, Old houses & Japanese Covered Pagoda Bridge, Old house of Tan Ki, Sa Huynh Culture Museum.
DAY 7 Hoi An – Flight to Saigon +
Arrival in Saigon via flight from Hoi An. Transfer to hotel. Unwind and relax for the day. Overnight stay at hotel in Saigon.
DAY 8 Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels Tour – Saigon Sightseeing +
After morning breakfast at hotel, head for a half-day visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Next, drive back to Saigon and relax for some time. Later in the afternoon, it's time for half-day sightseeing tour of the city. You would visit the War Remnants Museum and the Reunification Palace. Overnight stay at hotel in Saigon.
DAY 9 Saigon – Day trip to Mekong Delta +
Today, leave the hotel as you set out to explore the scenic Mekong Delta on a guided day tour. Get onboard a boat ride with first stopover at the Unicorn Island. Here you would taste fresh fruits, wander through orchards, and listern to Southern style music. Get back on the boat to reach Ben Tre. Upon reaching, you would witness how locals make the coconut candy, walk around and try hands-on on a horse pulled carriage. Cruise further to local bee-keeping households for honey tasting. Return to Saigon and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
 
DAY 10 Saigon – Departure +
Wake up and checkout from the hotel. Transfer to Airport to board departure flight.

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026
