Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrive Delhi +

Begin your tour with your arrival at Delhi. Our representative will pick and you and transfer you to your booked accommodation. On arrival check into the hotel and rest for a while. Freshen up and in the evening walk through the busy local markets of the capital city or you can spend your day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi. Our representative will meet and greet at the airport and get you transferred to hotel.

DAY 2 Delhi City Tour covering Forts +

Freshen up after your breakfast and get ready to explore the beautiful city of Delhi. Begin your day covering the major attractions of Old Delhi such as Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Rajghat. Founded by Shahjanabad, Jama Masjid is one of the famous attractions that should be visited when in Delhi. Admire the beautiful architecture and get to know about its historical importance. Then head to Red Fort which is situated in the centre of the city. This imposing structure showcases the Mughal era and attracts thousands of tourists from all across the globe. Head to Rajghat that holds a great significance in the history of India. Later go for a rickshaw ride through the busy streets of Chandni Chowk and witness the lively ambience of the city. By afternoon, make your way to Humayun’s Tomb which is the final resting place of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. DAY 3 Delhi to Agra (233 kms / Approx 05 Hrs. Drive) +

After breakfast, get ready to proceed to Agra which is a 4 hour drive from Delhi. With a morning drive to Agra, you will be visiting Agra Fort, Itmah-dullah which is a famous tourist attraction of the city. After the tour, proceed for shopping at the local bazaars and spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Agra.

DAY 4 Agra-Fatehpur Sikhri-Jaipur (244 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs. Drive) +

Today after breakfast, depart for Jaipur which is your next stop on your golden triangle tour with Leh. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikhri which was the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. A UNESCO world heritage site, Fatehpur Sikhri is a fine example of true Mughal architecture. Then drive to Jaipur, the city of palaces and forts. On arrival, check into the hotel and overnight stay in your booked accomodation in Jaipur.

DAY 5 Jaipur +

Today, get ready to explore the magical view of the Pink city, Jaipur. Have your breakfast and then begin your city tour. Head to the city Palace which is a perfect combination of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture, where you have the chance to see the famous Sheesh Mahal. Then drive to the Hawa Mahal which was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. The palace was earlier used by the Kings to relax and now it has become one of the famous tourist sites in Jaipur. Later proceed to Amer Fort which is an architectural masterpiece with significant Indian history. The fort is famous for its mesmerizing view from the bottom of the hill when it lightens up in the evening. By evening, move towards Chowki Dhani for your dinner. Chowki Dhani is a luxurious resort that exhibits rich culture and lip smacking delicacies of Rajasthan. Along with sumptuous dinner, the resort offers myriad of entertainment options such as puppet shows, camel rides, fortune tellers , magic shows to name a few. After your city tour of Jaipur, return back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 6 Jaipur-Kathmandu via flight +

Today after breakfast leave for Kathmandu via flight. On arrival, meet our representative who will transfer you to your booked hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure and overnight stay at Kathmandu.

DAY 7 Kathmandu +

Today after breakfast, get ready for city tour of Kathmandu. The capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu is also known as Kantipur and is a well known tourist site that has seen many people from all over the world. In the first half of your sightseeing tour, you will be visiting temple of the Living Goddess, Kathmandu Durbar Square which is overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace which is an ancient place of the Nepalese Royalty. Next you will head to Swayambhunath which is situated approximately 4 km from the city. Said to be 2000 years old, this Buddhist Stupa is a major tourist site that has attracted tourists from everywhere. This magnificent structure houses solid hemisphere of brick and earth that supports a conical spire which is capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Rest for a while and later get ready to explore some other famous attractions of the city. In the evening, you will be heading to Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath which are yet another tourist places in Nepal. Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River in Deopatan, Pashupatinath is a Hindu Temple that has seen heavy footfall of devotees from all over the world. This well known temple is dedicated to manifestation of Shiva called as Pashupati who is also known as the Lord of Animals. Adorned with wood carvings of members of Shiva’s family and beautiful interior, this temple is a must visit attraction in Nepal. After the temple tour, head to Bouddhanath Stupa which is known to be the largest stupa and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist Temple in the entire country. Bouddhanath was built in the 14th century and the temple has become one of the major highlight of the Tibetan Buddhism. It still remains an important place of pilgrimage and meditation for the local Nepalis, Buddhists and other tourists. Return back by evening for overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.

DAY 8 Kathmandu-Pokhara (201 Kms / approx 06 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

Enjoy your delicious breakfast at the hotel and start your drive to Pokhara which is a 6-hour drive from Kathmandu city. Located in the North Western part of Nepal, Pokhara is a well known valley that has attracted tourists from all walks of life. This region is famous among the enthusiast travelers and Annapurna mountain range trekkers. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Pokhara.

DAY 9 Pokhara City Tour +
Wake up and enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel and get ready for half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara. Today you will be visiting Bindybasini Temple which is perched on the top of a small hill. This well known temple is believed to be one of the oldest temples in the valley and is visited by thousands of devotees every year. Head to Seti River that runs through the main city area and proffers stunning view of the dreadful rush before it vanishes at Bagar into a deep gorge. For shopaholics, you can visit old bazaar which is extended in the heart of the city beneath the Bindayabasini Temple. DAY 10 Pokhara-Nagarkot (225 Kms / Approx 07 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

Today, enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and check out from the hotel. Get ready to drive to Nagarkot which is your next stop on this tour to Nepal. The drive from Pokhara to Nagarkot takes approximately 7 hours. Nestled at a height of 2195 meters and 32 km east of Kathmandu, Nagarkot is famous for its sunrise and sunset views and offers stunning views of the famous Mt. Everest in the morning. On arrival check in to the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 11 Kathmandu Airport Drop Departure +

Today wake up early in the morning and enjoy the mesmerizing view of the sunrise and make the most of the trip. Return back and enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel. Later meet our guide who will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey.

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026
