Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrive Delhi +

Begin your tour with your arrival at Delhi. Our representative will pick and you and transfer you to your booked accommodation. On arrival check into the hotel and rest for a while. Freshen up and in the evening walk through the busy local markets of the capital city or you can spend your day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi. Our representative will meet and greet at the airport and get you transferred to hotel.

DAY 2 Delhi City Tour covering Forts +

Freshen up after your breakfast and get ready to explore the beautiful city of Delhi. Begin your day covering the major attractions of Old Delhi such as Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Rajghat. Founded by Shahjanabad, Jama Masjid is one of the famous attractions that should be visited when in Delhi. Admire the beautiful architecture and get to know about its historical importance. Then head to Red Fort which is situated in the centre of the city. This imposing structure showcases the Mughal era and attracts thousands of tourists from all across the globe. Head to Rajghat that holds a great significance in the history of India. Later go for a rickshaw ride through the busy streets of Chandni Chowk and witness the lively ambience of the city. By afternoon, make your way to Humayun’s Tomb which is the final resting place of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. This splendid tomb stands in the middle of an ornate Mughal garden making it a famous place to visit in Delhi. Proceed to visit Qutub Minar which is a soaring and brave tower that was built by various rulers over the course of time. After the monument tour, drive past the residence of the President of India, Parliament House and India gate that is built in the honor of sacrifices of Indian soldiers. Return back by evening for overnight stay at your hotel.

DAY 3 Delhi to Agra (233 Kms / Aprrox 05 Hrs. Drive) +

After breakfast, get ready to proceed to Agra which is a 4 hour drive from Delhi. With a morning drive to Agra, you will be visiting the popular Taj Mahal which is a popular tourist attraction in Agra. After the tour, proceed for shopping at the local bazaars and spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

DAY 4 Agra +

Today after breakfast head to visit Agra Fort, Itmah-dullah which is a famous tourist attraction of the city. Overnight stay at Agra.

DAY 5 Agra to Fatehpur Sikri(36 Kmr / Approx 01 Hrs. Drive) to Jaipur (208 Kms / Approx 04 Hrs. Drive) +

Today wake up early to view the spectacular sunrise in the backdrop of the famous Taj Mahal. Have your breakfast and then check out from the hotel. Later drive to the city of Jaipur which is your next stop on this heritage tour to North India. Enroute you will be visiting the famous Fatehpur Sikri which is considered to be the former residence of Emperor Akbar of its time. On arrival at Jaipur, spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 6 Jaipur +

Your day kick-starts with exclusive visits to prominent attractions of Jaipur including the Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and Sheesh Mahal or the Palace of Mirrors. DAY 7 Jaipur- Raipur (255 Kms / Approx 04 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

DAY 8 Raipur +

DAY 9 Raipur- Nagaur +
After breakfast, drive to Nagaur which is your next stop on this tour. On arrival, check in at the hotel and overnight stay at Nagaur.
DAY 10 Nagaur - Jaisalmer (323 Kms / Approx 06 Hrs. Drive) (STAY AT THE SERAI, JAISALMER) +

Kick start your day with delicious breakfast and later head to visit Ahichhatragarh Fort which is a popular attraction of the city. Later head to Jaisalmer and on arrival, check in at the hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 11 Jaisalmer +

Begin your day with breakfast and later explore the famous Jaisalmer Fort, the beautiful temples and Havelis. Later return to Serai for sundowners on the dunes where you will get to experience desert safari. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.

DAY 12 Jaisalmer-Jodhpur (281 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs 30 MInt. Drive) +

After breakfast, head to Jodhpur and on arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

DAY 13 Jodhpur +

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort and take stroll through the lanes of the old city. Later in the afternoon head out on a jeep safari and take a detour of the area. See traditional crafts being practiced at the village. Return back for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 14 Jodhpur-Narlai (128 Kms / Approx 03 Hrs. Drive) +

Today after breakfast, head to Narlai. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. You can explore the local area or take part in the activities. Overnight stay at Narlai.

DAY 15 Narlai to Udaipur Via Ranakpur (121 Kms / Approx 03 Hrs. Drive) +

Today wake up early for a sunrise walk up the Elephant Hill which is a huge granite rock. Later continue to drive to Udaipur and enroute make a stopover in Ranakpur where you will get to visit the popular Ranakpur Jain Temple. On arrival, check into the hotel and evening is for leisure. Overnight stay at Udaipur.

DAY 16 Udaipur +

Set out on a lavish expedition in Udaipur that boasts a string of royal residencies. This city gives ample glimpses of the richness, glory and grandeur of Rajasthan at its best. You will first head to City Palace followed by Sahelion-ki-Bari, Jagdish Temple, Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum and lastly, the Jagmandir Palace. Reserve your evening for a boat ride on Lake Pichola and treat your eyes with its pristine sunset vistas. Overnight stay at Hotel in Udaipur.

DAY 17 Udaipur- Flight -Delhi +

Enjoy your breakfast and get transferred to the airport and board flight to Delhi. Dinner and overnight stay at Delhi.

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026

It's was a pleasant trip. 6 days and 5 nights - 3 couple. Cover kochi, Kollam and alappuzha boat house. The driver was good and helpful.
