Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrival in Delhi +

Begin your tour with your arrival at Delhi. Our representative will pick and you and transfer you to your booked accommodation. On arrival check into the hotel and rest for a while. Freshen up and in the evening walk through the busy local markets of the capital city or you can spend your day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

DAY 2 Delhi Sightseeing +

Have your breakfast and head for sightseeing tour which includes places like Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk and Raj Ghat. Drive through Rashtrapati Bhawan and the day will end with a visit to Qutub Minar. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

DAY 3 Delhi - Mandawa (260 Kms / Approx 06 Hrs. Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and get transferred to Mandawa which is situated in the Shekhawati region. Later head to visit some of the Havelis and by evening, go for a sunset camel ride in the sand dunes. Overnight stay at Mandawa.

DAY 4 Mandawa - Bikaner (192 Kms / Approx 03 Hrs 45 Mint. Drive) +

Today after breakfast, proceed to Bikaner which is your next stop on this tour. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest for a while. Later head to visit Junagarh Fort and the camel research and breeding farm. Return back by evening for overnight stay.

DAY 5 Bikaner - Jaisalmer (331 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

After breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.

DAY 6 Jaisalmer Sightseeing +

Have your breakfast and head for sightseeting tour that includes the famous Jaisalmer Fort. Later proceed for a drive to the Sand Dunes where you will get to enjoy the camel safari. Return back by evening for overnight stay.

DAY 7 Jaisalmer - Jodhpur (281 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs. Drive) +

DAY 8 Jodhpur – Sightseeing +

DAY 9 Jodhpur - Udaipur (249 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs. Drive) +

Savour a delicious breakfast and proceed to Udaipur. On arrival check in and spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Udaipur.

DAY 10 Udaipur sightseeing +
Have you breakfast and start your sightseeing tour of the city. First visit the grand City Palace, then explore Sahelion Ki Bari, a peaceful garden. Next, see Jagdish Temple and Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum to know more about local culture and traditions. Later, visit Jagmandir Palace, a lovely island palace on Lake Pichola. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Pichola and watch a stunning sunset over the water. End the day by watching the sound and light show “Yash ki Dharohar” at City Palace. After a wonderful day, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Udaipur.
DAY 11 Udaipur - Pushkar (277 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs 45 Hrs. Drive) +

After breakfast, proceed to Pushkar which is a famous tourist attraction in Rajasthan. On arrival, rest for a while and later visit Pushkar Lake and Brahma Temple. Explore the vibrant markets of the city and return back by evening for overnight stay.

DAY 12 Pushkar - Jaipur (146 Kms / Approx 03 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

Kick start your day with breakfast and drive to Jaipur. On arrival, check in and begin your sightseeing tour which includes places like City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Later in the evening visit markets and shop for souvenirs. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 13 Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (241 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast and proceed to visit Amer Fort. Enjoy the elephant ride and witness the mesmerizing view of the fort. Later check out and continue your journey to Agra. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikhri. On arrival, check-in and rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Agra.

DAY 14 Agra - Delhi (219 Kms / Approx 04 Hrs 30 Mint) -Flight- Varanasi +

Wake up early and head to visit the Taj Mahal and enjoy the stunning view of the sunrise. Return back to the hotel for breakfast and get transferred to Delhi Airport. From there board flight to Varanasi. On arrival, check-in and rest of the day is for leisure.

DAY 15 Varanasi sightseeing +

Today, wake up and proceed for a scenic boat ride at River Ganges and visit some of the famous Ghats of the city. After refreshing your senses, return back to the hotel for delicious breakfast. Later drive to one of the famous Buddhist pilgrimage attractions such as Sarnath where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining nirvana. Then you will drive back to Varanasi for a half day city tour. You will be visiting some of the famous temples of the city like Kashi Temple, Tulsi Temple and Hanuman Temple where you will come to know about the religious importance of the place. Return back by evening for overnight stay at the hotel in Varanasi.

DAY 16 Varanasi -Flight- Delhi - Departure +

Today your tour will come to an end with your departure to the airport and from there catch flight to Delhi. From there board flight for your onward destination. After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Varanasi Airport to catch flight to Delhi Airport. Upon arrival, board your flight back home.

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026

It's was a pleasant trip. 6 days and 5 nights - 3 couple. Cover kochi, Kollam and alappuzha boat house. The driver was good and helpful.
