The Nathula Pass is an ideal spot to click amazing photographs during the tour. It is located a few meters away from the bordering fence of Indo-China Border and is considered to be one of the highest motorable roads. It is believed that the Nathula Pass was a popular trade route for India and Tibet.

This motorable road was permitted to be used for border trade after 44 years in 2006. You can visit this route on all days except Monday and Tuesday so plan your trip accordingly. We suggest you carry light woollens, stay updated about the weather conditions and keep yourself covered as much as possible. If you feel sickness due to high altitude condition (poor oxygen levels), go back to the hotel and relax.

A Visit to Sikkim is incomplete without a trip to Nathula Pass, which lies 54 Kms East of capital Gangtok. Nathula Pass connects Sikkim to Tibet and forms part of the ancient 'silk route'.  The Pass is 4,310 Metres above sea level and the road leading to it is quite steep and slippery at a few places. But that nevertheless adds to the adventure. The temperature here drops to -25° Celsius during winters. Therefore, the best time to visit Sikkim is April to Mid June and October to November.
