What Our Travellers Say

Our 4th Trip with TraEminent Travel Agency – A Wonderful 15-Night, 16-Day Journey Across India ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended by a Couple from Malaysia! We are a couple from Malaysia, and this was our 4th trip with TraEminent Travel Agency. Having travelled with them several times, we are delighted to share our positive experience of our latest 15-night, 16-day customised journey through India. Our journey began in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and took us through Amritsar, Bathinda, Anandpur Sahib, Manikaran Sahib, Manali, Shimla and Chandigarh, before ending in Delhi, followed by our return flight to Kuala Lumpur. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Mdm. Shivani, Sales Manager, and her entire team, for organising our ground arrangements so smoothly from the beginning to the end of our journey. This time, we were very pleased with the overall arrangements. The hotels, breakfasts and dinners were good, and our driver provided excellent service throughout the trip. His professionalism, safe driving, helpfulness and friendly attitude made our journey comfortable and enjoyable. Most importantly, we managed to cover almost 99% of our customised itinerary, just as we had planned. Considering the long distances between destinations and the time required for travelling, we were very happy with how the itinerary was managed. A special thank you to Mdm. Shivani for her experience, patience, friendly approach and attention to detail. She listened carefully to what we wanted to see and experience, provided useful recommendations and helped arrange the journey according to our interests. Her support gave us confidence and peace of mind throughout the planning process. For us, a successful holiday is not only about visiting beautiful places. It is also about having a reliable travel manager, comfortable accommodation, good meals, an excellent driver, proper coordination and, above all, safety and trust. We appreciate the effort made by Mdm. Shivani and her team to deliver these important aspects of our trip. Our recommendation to fellow Malaysians To our Malaysian friends and anyone planning a trip to India, we would strongly recommend considering TraEminent Travel Agency. Our advice is to contact Mdm. Shivani directly and explain clearly what you would like to see, which places you wish to visit, your preferred travel dates and your budget. Share your interests and ask her to recommend other places worth visiting along your route. Her experience and suggestions can help you develop a customised itinerary that suits your needs. We particularly appreciate her friendly manner, experience, reliability and commitment to arranging a trip with safety in mind. Good communication and trust are important when travelling in a country as vast as India, especially when covering long distances. This was our fourth journey with TraEminent, and we are grateful to Mdm. Shivani and the entire team for their hard work and support in making this latest trip a smooth, comfortable and memorable experience. Thank you, Mdm. Shivani and the TraEminent team, for taking good care of our journey from start to finish. We wish the company continued success, and we would be happy to recommend your services to our family members, relatives and friends in Malaysia who are planning their next holiday in India. We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok, nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026

We recently completed a tour to Kashmir, Amritsar, Shimla, and Manali organised by Traeminent, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The itinerary was very well planned, allowing us to comfortably explore each destination without feeling rushed. Kashmir was absolutely breathtaking — from the serene Dal Lake to the stunning landscapes of Gulmarg. The houseboat stay was a highlight. Amritsar added a spiritual dimension to the trip, with a seamless visit to the Golden Temple and Wagah Border. Shimla and Manali were equally memorable, offering beautiful mountain views, enjoyable local experiences, and well-coordinated sightseeing. The toy train ride in Shimla and the overall hill station experience were particularly special. The logistics throughout the trip were handled efficiently, transport was comfortable, hotels were well chosen, and the support from the Traeminent team was consistent and dependable. We always felt well taken care of. Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable journey. I would highly recommend Traeminent to anyone looking for a well-organised and enriching travel experience.

July Tour

If you enjoy the rain and the fresh smell of wet earth then a July trip in India is perfect. The monsoon makes the hills, forests and lakes come alive. Whether you are seeking adventure or peace or romance, July offers a refreshing and beautiful way to explore the greenery of India.

Fall in Love with India’s Monsoon Magic

July brings a calm and refreshing feel to India. The rains make the whole country look green and full of life. Hills, forests and rivers look more beautiful than ever and waterfalls flow with fresh energy. With fewer tourists around, you can travel peacefully and enjoy every place at your own pace. The monsoon breeze adds a special charm to destinations like Kerala, Coorg and Darjeeling. If you want to drive through misty roads, watch the rain or relax by a lake then a trip in July in India feels peaceful and romantic. It is the perfect time to explore the natural beauty of India.

What July Feels Like Across Different Regions in India?

July changes the weather across India in many ways. Some places get heavy rains while others stay cool and pleasant. Here’s how different parts of India feel during this beautiful monsoon month:

South India

South India welcomes the monsoon with full charm. Kerala looks beautiful with green hills, flowing backwaters and rain-washed landscapes. Tamil Nadu gets mild rain and sunny breaks which is perfect for visiting temples and exploring cities. In Karnataka, hill stations like Coorg and Chikmagalur are covered in mist which gives travelers a peaceful and romantic monsoon vibes. You can also plan a Kerala tour in July for an incredible journey.

North India

During July, North India brings a mix of rain and cool air. Hill stations like Nainital, Shimla, Manali and Mussoorie turn green with waterfalls and mist all around. Kashmir stays calm and pleasant and perfect to plan a Kashmir trip in July, while Ladakh remains mostly dry which is great for road trips and adventure. Rajasthan starts to cool down after the harsh summer which makes it a nice time to explore palaces, forts and desert towns.

East India

Eastern India turns fresh and colorful in July. Darjeeling and Sikkim are wrapped in clouds which creates a dreamy hill station feel, perfect to book a Darjeeling trip in July. The tea gardens of Assam look greener and the river flows beautifully. The beaches of Odisha are calm and breezy which is a good choice for quiet getaways. This region is perfect for those who love scenic drives and nature-filled tours.

West India

The western region enjoys the full beauty of monsoon rains. Goa becomes extra romantic with rain-kissed beaches and waterfalls. The hill stations of Maharashtra including Mahabaleshwar, Lonavala and Matheran attract travelers with their foggy views and greenery. Gujarat gets gentle showers which makes its historic towns and cultural sites pleasant to visit.

Central India

In July, Central India feels fresh and peaceful. The forests, rivers and waterfalls come alive after the first rains. National parks like Kanha and Pench turn green, though some might close for the season. With cool weather and fewer crowds, this region is ideal for nature lovers.

Best Destinations for a July Trip in India

The most wonderful month to explore India is July. The rain brings life to mountains, lakes and forests which makes every place look fresh and green. Here are some of the beautiful places to visit in India in July:

  • Mahabaleshwar, Maharashtra: Mahabaleshwar turns dreamy in July. The hills get covered in mist, waterfalls flow down every corner and the air smells fresh after rain. You can enjoy scenic view points and take peaceful walks through green valleys.
  • Rajasthan: A Rajasthan trip in July lets you experience the softer side of the desert. The heat reduces, the skies turn cloudy and places like Jaipur, Udaipur and Mount Abu feel cool and pleasant. You can explore forts, palaces and lakes to make your trip memorable.
  • Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh: Spiti Valley wakes up in July when the snow melts and roads reopen. The landscape looks surreal with brown mountains, deep valleys and sparkling blue skies. Travelers can explore monasteries, quaint villages and crystal-clear lakes like Chadratal.
  • Coorg, Karnataka: Coorg is also known as the “Scotland of India” and it turns lush and green in July. The rain refreshes the coffee plantations and makes the waterfalls even more stunning. Travelers can enjoy hot coffee, visit Abbey Falls and stay in cozy homestays surrounded by misty hills.
  • Ladakh: July is one of the best months for a Ladakh trip. The roads from Manali and Srinagar stay open, the skies are bright blue and the views are breathtaking. A Ladakh trip in July lets you visit Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake and ancient monasteries.
  • Nainital, Uttarakhand: Nainital looks lovely in July with mist over the Naini Lake and gentle rain that makes everything sparkle. Travelers can go boating, enjoy hilltop views and sip hot tea by the lakeside. It is a charming getaway for couples and families.
  • Lakshadweep Islands: Lakshadweep is a quiet tropical paradise in July. The beaches are calm, the sea looks bright turquoise and the cool showers make the islands even more beautiful. Relax on the sand, enjoy light water activities and unwind in the lap of nature.
  • Gangtok, Sikkim: Gangtok becomes refreshing and green in July. Light rain adds a soft touch to the mountains and waterfalls appear everywhere. Visit monasteries, explore local markets and enjoy Tsongmo Lake surrounded by mist. Plan your Sikkim tour in July to experience the best of this state.
  • Pahalgam, Kashmir: In July, Pahalgam feels peaceful and full of life. The Lidder River flows beautifully, the meadow turns bright green and the weather stays mild which makes this month perfect for picnics and small treks.

Festivals & Local Experiences in July

Apart from rain, July in India is also a month of colorful festivals and lively traditions. Here is the list of some of the popular festivals you can experience in the month of July:

  • Rath Yatra: In Puri (Odisha), the grand Rath Yatra takes place with huge wooden chariots carrying Lord Jagannath and his siblings through the streets. It is followed by thousands of chanting devotees.
  • Dree Festival: Dree Festival is celebrated by the Apatani tribe in Assam. They sing, dance and perform rituals to thank nature for a good harvest.
  • Champakulam Boat Race: This boat race is held in the picturesque village of Champakkulam in Alappuzha district and it is the oldest snake boat race in Kerala. Champakulam Boat Race kicks off the festive season with long beautifully decorated boats racing through calm backwaters.
  • Hemis Festival: In Ladakh, the Hemis Festival fills the monasteries with life as monks perform mask dances, beat drums and chant prayers to honor Guru Padmasambhava.
