Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrival in Delhi +

Arrive at the airport and get transferred to your booked hotel. Later proceed for guided city tour of Delhi where you will visit Raj Ghat, Red Fort, India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Overnight stay at Delhi.

DAY 2 Delhi - Churu (254 Kms / Approx 06 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

After breakfast drive to Churu. On arrival check-in at hotel. Freshen-up & proceed for Churu Heritage Walk. Take a walk through Dharamsputa which is a tall red sand-stone tower. Continue your tour to the local bazaar and explore the vibrant handicrafts and other times. Then proceed to make a stop at Surana Haveli which was built in the 19th century by the Kothari family. Head to visit Surana Double Haveli which is also well known as Surana Hawa Mahal or the Wind Palace. Pay your respects at the famous Balaji Temple. You can even take an optional tour to Mandawa which is home to some of the thrilling architecture marvels. Explore the region and visit fascinating mansions. Later return back to the hotel for overnight stay day 1: Delhi Arrive at the airport and get transferred to your booked hotel. DAY 3 Churu - Khimsar (242 Kms /Approx 05 Hrs ) +

Begin your day with delicious breakfast and then drive to Khimsar. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest for a while. Later head for jeep safari where you will get to enjoy the intriguing landscape. Later make a stopover for tea and refreshments at the Khimsar Dunes Village and enjoy the beautiful views of the sunset. Overnight stay at Khimsar.

DAY 4 Khimsar - Nimaj (163 Kms / Apporx 04 Hrs. Drive) +

After breakfast, proceed for Black Buck safari at the Panchala Black Buck reserve which is home to three species of antelope which are – the Blackbuck, Chinkara and Bluebull. Spot the wildlife in their natural habitat. Later proceed to Nimaj which is your next stop on this tour. On arrival check in at the hotel and rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at Nimaj.

DAY 5 Nimaj +

Enjoy your breakfast and proceed for village tour later. Marvel at the fascinating style of the homes and interact with the locals. Next proceed to Jal Tarang where a romantic cruise at Chhatra Sagar Dam awaits you. You can take an optional tour to Jodhpur where you can visit popular attractions like Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mehrangar Fort, Jaswant Thada and colourful markets. Overnight stay at Nimaj

DAY 6 Nimaj - Ranakpur (173 Kms / Approx 04 Hrs. Drive) +

Kick start your day with appetizing breakfast at the hotel and later leave for Ranakpur. Enroute visit Kumbhalgarh Fort which was the most important citadel in the Mewar region. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest for a while. Proceed to visit Ranakpur Jain Temple and marvel at the carvings, exquisite architecture etc. After the tour, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 7 Ranakpur - Dungarpur ( 199 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs. Drive) +

Today after breakfast, head to Dungarpur and enroute visit Udaipur-the city of Lakes. Udaipur is known to be one of the stunning sights of the desert state. On arrival at Dungarpur, check in at the hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 8 Dungarpur +

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Dungarpur. Begin your tour with visit to Juna Mahal which is a 13th century seven storeyed edifice that resembles a fortress. Next visit Gaib Sagar Lake which is a popular shrine of Shrinathji that lies along the lake. The sight of Rishabdeo cannot be missed as it is a 14th century temple that is famed for its elaborate carvings and precious stone studded idol of Lord Kesariyaji. Pay your respects to Deo Somnath, a 12th century temple of Lord Shiva. After the tour, drive back to your booked hotel for overnight stay

DAY 9 Dungarpur - Chittorgarh ( 202 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs. Drive) +

Today after breakfast, drive to Chittorgarh and on arrival check in at the hotel. Freshen up and later proceed to visit Chittorgarh Fort which was the capital of Mewar from the 7th century to the 16th. Evening is for leisure and overnight stay at Chittorgarh.

DAY 10 Chittorgarh - Bundi (154 Kms / Approx 03 Hrs 15 Mint. Drive) +

After breakfast drive to Bundi and on arrival, check in at the hotel. Later proceed to visit Taragarh Fort which is a magnificent architecture that should be visited on your tour. Visit Sukh Mahal which is the stunning summer palace of Jait Sagar Lake which has lush garden and surroundings of the Aravali mountain range. Overnight stay at Bundi.

DAY 11 Bundi - Sawai Madhopur (136 Kms / 03 Hrs. Drive) +

Post breakfast, proceed to Sawai Madhopur which is famous for Ranthambore National Park. On arrival, check in at the hotel and later proceed to visit the wildlife sanctuary. Get ready to enjoy the jeep safari and see plenty of wild animals and birds including the royal Bengal tiger. Return back by evening for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 12 Sawai Madhopur - Tehla (159 Kms / Approx 04 Hrs 30 mint. Drive) +

Today early morning, go for safari and enjoy the view of the region. Later return back to the hotel for breakfast. Later continue your drive to Tehla and on arrival, check in at the hotel. This town in Rajasthan is blessed with enticing charm and traditional lifestyle. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 13 Tehla - Delhi (228 Kms / Approx 06 Hrs. Drive) +

After breakfast, drive back to Delhi and on arrival, check in at the booked hotel. Later proceed to visit Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid etc. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026

It's was a pleasant trip. 6 days and 5 nights - 3 couple. Cover kochi, Kollam and alappuzha boat house. The driver was good and helpful.
