Day by Day

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrive Delhi +

Arrive in Delhi and meet our representative who will pick you from the representative who will transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

DAY 2 Delhi to Agra (233 kms / Approx 05 Hrs. Drive) +

This tour proceeds with a morning drive to Agra where you visit the Agra Fort, Itmad-ud-daulah, Taj Mahal and in the evening, enjoy shopping at its local bazaars. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

DAY 3 Agra – Jhansi (by train)-Khajuraho (206 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

Today in the morning meet our representative who will drop you at the railway station. From there you will be boarding train to Jhansi. On arrival at Jhansi, get driven to Khajuraho which is your next stop on this wildlife tour. Check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Khajuraho.

DAY 4 Khajuraho – Panna national park – Khajuraho (99 Kms / Approx 03 Hrs. One Way Drive) +

Have your breakfast at the lodge and get driven to Panna which is your next stop on this wildlife luxury tour. On arrival, freshen up to proceed for evening safari tour at Panna National Park. While on your tour, get up close and personal with the nocturnal animals that will be seen inside the park. After the safari tour, return back to Khajuraho for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5 Khajuraho – Bandhavgarh (227 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and get transferred to the airport to board your flight to Jabalpur. Upon arrival, meet our representative who will drive you to Bandhavgarh National Park which is your next stop on this wildlife tour. Arrive at Bandhavgarh and check into the booked wildlife resort. The evening will be at leisure. Dinner and Overnight stay at the resort.

DAY 6 Bandhavgarh +

Today wake up early and get ready for morning safari tour at the national park. The enthralling jeep safari is a true delight for wildlife and adventure lovers. Hop onto the jeep and get ready to witness the flora and fauna of the region. Return back to the resort for delicious breakfast and spend the day at leisure. In the evening get ready for another jeep safari tour that will keep you enthralled throughout your safari tour. Return back to the resort for overnight stay.

DAY 7 Bandhavgarh – Kanha (240 Kms / Approx 06 Hrs. Drive) +

Wake up early and set off for jungle safari inside the national park for amazing wildlife viewing. Later come back to the resort for delicious breakfast that will be served and then proceed to Kanha National Park. On arrival check-in at the wildlife resort and the rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight stay at the resort.

DAY 8 Kanha National Park +

Kick start your morning with jungle safari where you will get to spot rare species from a closer view. Return back to the lodge for breakfast and rest for a while. In the afternoon, prepare yourself for another safari tour where you can spot tigers from a closer view. Return back for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 9 Kanha – Pench National Park (252 Kms / Approx 06 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

Have delicious breakfast at the lodge and later get driven to Pench National Park which is your next stop on this wildlife tour of Madhya Pradesh. Upon arrival, check-in at the lodge and the rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at the lodge in Pench.

DAY 10 Pench National Park +

Kick start your day with delicious breakfast at the hotel and later get driven out for your morning safari tour at Pench National Park. The lush woods, glassy rivers, gushing streams and rocky trails make it an amazing place to spend your day. This national park is a haven for nature lovers and a good place to use your photographic skills. Enjoy your morning safari tour where you will come across various animals in their natural environment. Rest for a while in the afternoon and in the evening get ready for another jeep safari tour that will take you to some of the hidden locations of the park. If you are looking, you may spot tigers as well so make sure to keep your camera handy. Overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 11 Pench – Satpura national park (200 kms / Approx 05 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

After breakfast, meet our representative who will transfer you to Satpura National Park. On arrival, check-in at the lodge and rest for a while. In the evening go for a boat ride on Denwa River and enjoy the mesmerizing view of the region. Then return back for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 12 Satpura National Park +

Wake up early today and proceed for morning jeep safari tour of the national park where you will get to see an abundance of wildlife form a closer view. Watch the tigers roaming around freely in their natural environment. By afternoon return back for lunch and rest for a while. In the evening get ready for another jeep safari tour and spot rare wildlife inside the park. Return back for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 13 Satpura National Park – Bhedaghat (224 Kms / Approx 06 Hrs. Drive) Jabalpur (26 Kms / Approx 01 Hrs. Drive) +

Enjoy your breakfast and check out from the lodge and proceed to Jabalpur. Enroute make a stopover at Marble Rock, Dhuandhar Falls and Chausath Yogini Temple. Later on, arrive and check-in at the hotel and overnight stay.

DAY 14 Jabalpur – Delhi (by flight or Overnight train) +

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to Jabalpur airport. On the way visit Pisanhari Ki Madiya and Madan Mahal. Then get dropped at the airport and board flight for Delhi. Overnight stay at the booked hotel in Delhi.

DAY 15 Departure +
Your wildlife tour will come to an end with your departure to the airport. From there board flight for your onward destination.

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026
