Begin your tour with your arrival at Delhi. Our representative will pick and you and transfer you to your booked accommodation. On arrival check into the hotel and rest for a while. Freshen up and in the evening walk through the busy local markets of the capital city or you can spend your day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi. Our representative will meet and greet at the airport and get you transferred to hotel.
Freshen up after your breakfast and get ready to explore the beautiful city of Delhi. Begin your day covering the major attractions of Old Delhi such as Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Rajghat. Founded by Shahjanabad, Jama Masjid is one of the famous attractions that should be visited when in Delhi. Admire the beautiful architecture and get to know about its historical importance. Then head to Red Fort which is situated in the centre of the city. This imposing structure showcases the Mughal era and attracts thousands of tourists from all across the globe. Head to Rajghat that holds a great significance in the history of India. Later go for a rickshaw ride through the busy streets of Chandni Chowk and witness the lively ambience of the city. By afternoon, make your way to Humayun’s Tomb which is the final resting place of the Mughal Emperor Humayun. This splendid tomb stands in the middle of an ornate Mughal garden making it a famous place to visit in Delhi. Proceed to visit Qutub Minar which is a soaring and brave tower that was built by various rulers over the course of time. After the monument tour, drive past the residence of the President of India, Parliament House and India that is built in the honor of sacrifices of Indian soldiers. Return back by evening for overnight stay at your hotel.
After breakfast, get ready to proceed to Agra which is a 4 hour drive from Delhi. With a morning drive to Agra, you will be visiting Agra Fort, Itmah-dullah which is a famous tourist attraction of the city. A UNESCO world heritage site, Fatehpur Sikhri is a fine example of true Mughal architecture. Then drive to Jaipur, the city of palaces and forts. Today, get ready to explore the magical view of the Pink city, Jaipur. Have your breakfast and then begin your city tour. Head to the city Palace which is a perfect combination of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture, where you have the chance to see the famous Sheesh Mahal. Then drive to the Hawa Mahal which was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. The palace was earlier used by the Kings to relax and now it has become one of the famous tourist sites in Jaipur. Later proceed to Amer Fort which is an architectural masterpiece with significant Indian history. The fort is famous for its mesmerizing view from the bottom of the hill when it lightens up in the evening. By evening, move towards Chowki Dhani for your dinner. Today after breakfast, get ready for city tour of Kathmandu. The capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu is also known as Kantipur and is a well known tourist site that has seen many people from all over the world. In the first half of your sightseeing tour, you will be visiting temple of the Living Goddess, Kathmandu Durbar Square which is overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace which is an ancient place of the Nepalese Royalty. Next you will head to Swayambhunath which is situated approximately 4 km from the city. Said to be 2000 years old, this Buddhist Stupa is a major tourist site that has attracted tourists from everywhere. This magnificent structure houses solid hemisphere of brick and earth that supports a conical spire which is capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Rest for a while and later get ready to explore some other famous attractions of the city. In the evening, you will be heading to Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath which are yet another tourist places in Nepal. Situated on the banks of the Bagmati River in Deopatan, Pashupatinath is a Hindu Temple that has seen heavy footfall of devotees from all over the world. This well known temple is dedicated to manifestation of Shiva called as Pashupati who is also known as the Lord of Animals. Adorned with wood carvings of members of Shiva’s family and beautiful interior, this temple is a must visit attraction in Nepal. After the temple tour, head to Bouddhanath Stupa which is known to be the largest stupa and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist Temple in the entire country. Later in the evening, head to Taschichoe Dzong which is known to be the Fortress of Glorious Religion. Return back after exploring and overnight stay at Thimphu.
Today, after breakfast you will begin you sightseeing tour with places like King’s Memorial Chorten which was built in the memory of Third Druk Gyalpo and is dedicated to World Peace. This chorten or stupa is a huge white structure that is crowned with a golden spire. Located close to the city of Thimphu, this stupa is one of the most iconic monuments and garnered tourists from all walks of life. Next you will head to Buddha Point where you will get to see a statue of Budhha that is 169 feet tall. Next you will head to Sangaygang (BBS Tower) that was built in the 12th century and is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS) operates the country's radio and television network and has a hilltop-built telecommunications tower. It is situated at 2685 m above sea level and provides views of the whole Thimphu valley. During the evening, when the sun sets, the place is best enjoyed and is sure to make your tour worthwhile. Proceed to Changangkha lhakhang which is an ancient temple located about 1 km from Thimpu city center. The temple was built on a site chosen by the Drukpa Lineage founder in Bhutan in the 12th century. The temple has massive wheels of prayer along with incredibly huge texts from Tibet and very fine interior murals. Later, head to National handicrafts shop where you can buy interesting handicrafts that takes place in the weekend market. In the evening take a leisure walk from Clock tower square and interact with local people. Return back after your city tour and overnight stay.
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and later drive to Paroand where you will be visiting RimpugDzhing which is Bhutan’s most iconic Dzhong. It is finest example of Dzhong architecture and boast of massive walls that dominate over the valley. The fortress was built in 1644 by ShabdrungNgawangNamgyal and the fort played an important role in the history of Paro valley. The path to the Dzong is through the NemiZam, a traditional covered bridge. A paved stone path runs alongside the structure's formidable exterior walls. The ParoTsechu, the annual religious springtime festival of the valley, is held annually in the dzong courtyard and is attended by visitors from all over the world. Head to visit Ta Dzong which is a national museum of Bhutan and houses inside the six storied circular Ta Dzong. This well known museum boast of amazing collection of textile, costumes, paintings, wooden handicrafts, weapons, jewellery and armour. A small chapel is built on top of the building with icons that exhibit the Himalayan Buddhist traditions. After the city tour, return back to Paro for overnight stay.
Paro is known to be a valley of religion and myth and there you can visit Taktshang which is also called Tiger’s Nest. This popular landmark stands on a granite cliff and is about 1000m above the valley. The Taktsang monastery is known to be a national treasure of Bhutan. Take a short hike to Taktsang and you will reach a cafeteria from where you can enjoy picturesque view of the monastery. Later walk down back to road and reach your hotel for lunch. Then take a walk in Paro Bazar for shopping and overnight stay at Paro.
Your tour will come to an end where you will be driven back to Paro International Airport and from there board flight to Delhi.
