The perfect time to plan a wildlife safari experience in north and central India is from October to February. During these months, the weather stays pleasant which is comfortable for travel. This period makes safaris enjoyable without extreme heat. Summer, from April to June is also ideal for tiger sightseeing as animals come near water sources, but it can be very hot. The monsoon season is not the best time to visit as many national parks remain closed or have limited access.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrive Delhi +

Arrive in Delhi and meet our representative who will pick you from the airport and will transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

DAY 2 Delhi- Jaipur (282 kms / Approx 06 Hrs. Drive) +

Munch in your breakfast and later proceed to the Pink city-Jaipur which is your next stop on this wildlife tour. On arrival, check into your booked hotel and the rest of the day is for leisure. Spend your evening at leisure or explore the colourful market. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

DAY 3 Jaipur +

Today, your day kick-starts with your city tour of Jaipur that includes the famous Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and Sheesh Mahal or the Palace of Mirrors. A 16th Century fort, this place has more of historical importance that has garnered tourists from all across the globe.

Optional- You can go for Chowki Dhani Village to enjoy Rajasthani Folk Dance followed by Dinner. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 4 Jaipur- Ranthambore (191 Kms / Approx 04 Hrs. Drive) +

Today, after breakfast proceed to Ranthambore which is a 5-hour drive from Jaipur. On arrival, check into the lodge and spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Ranthambore.

DAY 5 Ranthambore +

Head on for a wildlife safari through this national tiger reserve in an open-air 20-seater canter and set your eyes to spot tigers in this natural habitat. This safari shall set your excitement levels higher for a time span of approx. 3.5 hours. Later, return to the hotel and spend the day at leisure. In the evening, proceed with an evening safari in this wildlife park and set your pulses racing as more species show up. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ranthambore.

DAY 6 Ranthambhore – Bharatpur (207 Kms / Approx 05 Hrs. Drive) +

Today after breakfast, proceed to Bharatpur. On arrival check-in at the hotel and freshen up. Enjoy delicious lunch at the hotel and get ready for jeep safari tour inside the national park. Witness the amazing wildlife roaming around freely in their natural environment. Then head to explore the nearby villages and interact with the locals. Return back by evening for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 7 Bharatpur- Agra (56 Kms / Approx 01 Hrs 30 Mint. Drive) +

Wake up early today and proceed to visit one of the famous bird sanctuaries in the world. It is a well-known reserve where you can spot migratory birds and waterside birds. The sanctuary also houses Boar, Sambar, Chital, Nilgai and much more. Return back to the hotel for a leisurely breakfast. By afternoon proceed to Agra. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and rest for a while. Later proceed to visit Agra Fort Complex that features a Pearl Mosque, Diwan-e-am and Diwan-e-Khas. Overnight stay in Agra.

DAY 8 Agra- Umaria (overnight train) +

Today, you will wake up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise view of the iconic Taj Mahal. Later return back to the hotel for delicious breakfast and visit Tomb of Itimad-Ud-Daulah or stroll around the bustling markets of the city. Later in the evening get transferred to the railway station for an overnight train to Umaria.

DAY 9 Umaria – Bandhavgarh (22 Kms / Approx 01 Hrs. Drive) +

Arrive at Umaria in the morning and get transferred to your booked hotel. Freshen up and get ready for an evening safari tour in Bandhavgarh. Watch the animals roaming around freely in their natural environment. Overnight stay at Bandhavgarh.

DAY 10 Bandhavgarh +

Today wake up early and get ready for morning safari tour at the national park. The enthralling jeep safari is a true delight for wildlife and adventure lovers. Hop onto the jeep and get ready to witness the flora and fauna of the region. Return back to the resort for delicious breakfast and spend the day at leisure. In the evening get ready for another jeep safari tour that will keep you enthralled throughout. Return back to the resort for overnight stay.

DAY 11 Bandhavgarh – Kanha (240 Kms / Approx 06 Hrs 30 Mint . Drive) +

Wake up early and set off for jungle safari inside the national park for amazing wildlife viewing. Later come back to the resort for delicious breakfast that will be served and then proceed to Kanha National Park. On arrival check-in at the wildlife resort and the rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight stay at the resort.

DAY 12 Kanha +

Kick start your morning with jungle safari where you will get to spot rare species from a closer view. Return back to the lodge for breakfast and rest for a while. In the afternoon, prepare yourself for another safari tour where you can spot tigers from a closer view. Return back for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 13 Kanha- Jabalpur- Flight- Delhi +

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to Jabalpur airport. On the way visit Pisanhari Ki Madiya and Madan Mahal. Then get dropped at the airport and board flight for Delhi. Overnight stay at the booked hotel in Delhi.

DAY 14 Departure +
Wildlife tour will come to an end where you will be meeting our representative who will drop you at the airport. From there board flight for your onward destination.
