Upon reaching Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi, meet and greet with Maharajas Express crew followed by completion of formalities. The train then departs to Agra, On reaching, deboard for a visit to the Agra Fort. This tour is followed by brunch and dinner on-board the train. Overnight stay in train.
Wake up and head for a sunrise visit to the iconic Taj Mahal, also the 7th wonder of the world. Return to train and continue your journey to Sawai Madhopur- a renowned abode to maximum tiger population in the country. My trip went really well. The management of the trip was absolutrly perfect. The hotels were great, the plan was good, and the team was in regular contact with me during the tour, which gave me peace of mind. Overall, it all went well.
The only thing that bothered me was the time alloted in Gulmarg. I was alloted only half day in Gulmarg, which wasnt sufficient.
The highlight of the trip was the driver - Adil. You spend a long time with your driver and having a good (or bad) driver makes a lot of difference. Adil went above and beyond to accommodate me in any way possible. Gave that personal touch in every aspect of the travel. Very professional and kept guiding me where possible.
Overall a great trip and I would surely recommend my friends and family. And personal thanks to Nity (operations team) for being there with me throughout the trip. Gave me that comfort and assurance I needed.
