At 18:00 hrs, arrive at Safdarjung Railway station in Delhi. You will be welcomed with a royal Garland with Tikka and turban on your forehead. A welcome drink would be served to get your supercharged. Complete all the formalities and get acquaintained with fellow passengers.  Explore this palace-on-wheels offering world-class facilities. Head for a sumptuous dinner at any of its two restaurants named Maharaja and Maharani. The train departs for Jaipur at 18:30 hrs.

Early morning breakfast on-board the train followed by embarking on a Jaipur sightseeing tour covering City Palace, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Amber fort where you would have lunch. Later, explore the fine architecture of Amer Fort nestled on a hilltop. After sightseeing, take a relaxing walk through the vibrant local street markets of Jaipur (and buy souvenirs like handicrafts, traditional clothes, gemstones, jewellery, and lots more).
Get back to the train by 18:00 hrs and savour a cup of evening tea. Enjoy leisure time in the train and later, head for a royal dinner at a popular heritage hotel.  Spend night in the Palace of Wheels as it departs for Sawai Madhopur.
 

The third day begins with an early morning wildlife expedition at the Ranthambore National Park. It is located at a close proximity to Sawai Madhopur. This wildlife park is an abode to a good number of tigers. Later, settle for breakfast at the jungle lodge. Return to the Palace on Wheels and head to Chittorgarh. Settle for lunch aboard. On the same day, de-board the train to explore the Chittorgarh that would include visit to the magnificent Chittorgarh Fort. In the evening, witness a brilliant light and show at the fort. Return to train for dinner and overnight stay. The train departs for Udaipur city.

Arrival in Udaipur at 08:00 hrs. This city is popular for its palace and lakes. Savour a royal breakfast followed by a sightseeing tour of Udaipur. This is a two-day excursion that covers Jagdish temple, Jag Niwas Lake Palace, Jag Mandir and so on. Settle for lunch at a heritage hotel. The second day includes exclusive visits to the City Palace and Crystal Gallery. In the evening, enjoy a mesmerizing boat ride at Lake Pichola. Return to the train for dinner and overnight stay. The train departs for Jaisalmer.
Enjoy morning breakfast on-board and later, embark on Jaisalmer sightseeing tour. This excursion would take you to the renowned Havelis (mansions)- Nathmalji ki Haveli, Patwon ki Haveli and Salim Singh ki Haveli. You can also shop exclusive handicraft items from its local bazaars. Settle for lunch at a popular city restaurant. Post lunch, head to the world-popular Sam Sand Dunes and capture splendid sunset views during a camel safari. After camel safari, savor an authentic dining experience amidst the sand dunes, bonfire and a spectacular cultural performance under the star-lit sky. Return to train for overnight stay, The Palace on Wheel chugs-off to Jodhpur.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast on-board and later, proceed with sightseeing tour of Jodhpur city. You would visit Mehrangarh fort, Jaswant Thada, and the Umaid Bhawan Palace. Have lunch at a palace hotel. Post lunch, walk through the famous local markets for souvenir shopping. Return to train for dinner and overnight stay. The train departs for Bharatpur.

Arrival at Bharatpur by 05:00 hours, now called the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. It is a haven to diverse bird species. It is thus a popular attraction for bird watching and wildlife spotting. Settle for breakfast at a jungle lodge. Return to train to continue journey to Agra. Upon arrival, head for a city tour including an exclusive visit to the iconic Taj Mahal. Also, visit the local markets of Agra that are famous for leather goods, jewellery, marble work etcetera. Enjoy a light and sound show followed by a sumptuous dinner at a city hotel. Return for overnight stay. The train departs for Delhi.

Today is the last day of the tour when the train enters the Safdarjung Railway Station. Breakfast on-board the train, followed by check-out formalities.

Goods & Service Tax (GST) is subject to change as per the government of India directives.

Booking Policy :

  1. 25% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
  2. Remaining 75% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure date.

Cancellation Policy :

  1. 10% of ticket value shall be deducted on cancellation between 120 to 90 days before the travel date.
  2. 25% of ticket value shall be deducted on cancellation between 89 to 60 days before the travel date.
  3. 50% of the ticket value shall be deducted on cancellation around 59 to 30days before the travel date.
  4. No refund shall be admissible in case the booking is cancelled within 29 days before the departure date.
  5. On cancellation of booking Suo-moto by Operator 100% of the fund deposited (without any kind of charges/claims) will be refunded.
  6. Operator will not be liable for any refund or compensation for any services such as pre/post accommodation, airline tickets, and excursions etc. that have been booked by the guest and/or their Travel Agent.
  7. Operator, under information to RTDC reserves the right to cancel the tour/trips at any given point of time to whatsoever reasons, 100% of received amount will be refunded in such cases.
  8. Operator will review and apprise the agents of such instances 60days prior to departure in case of low occupancy.
  9. Operator has the right to decide the same between 45 days to 30 days of the departure and officially inform the agents or individuals of such bookings.
  10. The minimum occupancy defined is of 50% to run the operations, that is 17 cabins.

No show/ En route termination of tour/amendment :

  1. No Show - In case of No Show / Non-arrival of the guest, refund or adjustment for future travel will not be applicable. The whole amount shall be treated as forfeited.
  2. En route termination of tour - In case of En route termination of tour by the guest, for any reasons refund or adjustment for future travel will not be applicable. The amount for unused portion of the tour shall be treated as forfeited.
  3. Amendment - Is only possible under the circumstances like Natural Disaster / Natural 
  4. Calamity or Serious Health Problem's (this needs to be supported by doctor's certificate) and is subject to availability. No refunds are possible and every case will be decided on merits on a case to case basis. No amendment will be permissible in case of booking of groups or complete train.
