Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 Delhi – Arrival +

Welcome to India. Meet and Greet on arrival at Delhi Airport and transfer to hotel. After freshen up proceed to visit Hauz Khas Village, ISCKON Temple, Lotus Temple and evening visit famous Akshardham Temple. Overnight Stay at hotel in Delhi. Note: The Check in time at all the hotels is 1400hrs, early check subject to availability.

DAY 2 Delhi - Sightseeing +

After breakfast, proceed for Delhi sightseeing tour covering Jama Masjid - the largest Mosque in India. Visit Chandni Chowk – oldest, biggest bazaar of Old Delhi. Walk up to Fatehpuri Mosque and enjoy a rickshaw ride till Red Fort. Here our driver will meet you and drive past Red Fort (a 17th century historical fort in Delhi), to reach Rajghat. Later visit Qutub Minar , drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House and India Gate. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi.

DAY 3 Delhi – Agra (By Road: 4 Hours Drive) +

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Get ready to proceed to Agra. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. After freshen up, you will be visiting Agra Fort, Itmah-dullah which is a famous tourist attraction of the city. After the tour, visit the the local bazaar if time permits and spend the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.

DAY 4 Agra – Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (By Road: 5-6 Hours Drive) +

Wake up early morning to enjoy sunrise views at Taj Mahal. Later, return to hotel and settle for a leisure breakfast. Check out from the hotel. Drive to Jaipur. Enroute visit the famous Fatehpur Sikri - A city, predominantly made of red sand stone, Fatehpur Sikri was once the capital of Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is now a UNESCO world heritage site and a famous tourist attraction. Continue drive to Jaipur. On arrival, check in at the hotel and after freshen up, proceed to Chokhi Dhani for a traditional Rajasthani experience. Enjoy an authentic dinner here. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 5 Jaipur – Sightseeing +

After breakfast, in Jaipur we will visit Amber Fort, where you will enjoy a Jeep Ride to the top of the palace. You will then visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a photography stop at the Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Winds. Later in the evening, explore the local bazaars of the city where you can buy precious stones, silver jewelry, paintings, ceramic tiles or hand-printed textiles. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.

DAY 6 Jaipur – Pushkar (By Road: 2 Hours Drive) +

After early breakfast, check out from the hotel. Proceed to Pushkar. On arrival, rest for a while and later, visit the Pushkar Lake and Lord Brahma Temple. Also, also enjoy Camel Ride in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel in Pushkar.

DAY 7 Pushkar – Jodhpur (By Road: 4 Hours Drive) +

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive to Jodhpur known as the Blue City. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Later. visit the gigantic Mehrangarh Fort located on a hilltop. You would also visit the Jaswant Thada located adjacent to the Mehrangarh Fort. Overnight stay at hotel in Jodhpur. In the evening, explore the city's colorful markets. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

DAY 8 Jodhpur – Udaipur via Ranakpur (By Road: 5 Hours Drive) +

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive to Udaipur. En route, visit the famous Ranakpur Jain Temple. Continue drive to Udaipur. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. In the evening, explore the city's colorful markets. Overnight stay at hotel in Udaipur.

DAY 9 Udaipur – Sightseeing +

Wake up and enjoy breakfast in morning. Later, proceed for sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Head to visit the famous City Palace followed by Sahelion-ki-Bari, Jagdish Temple, Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum and lastly, the Jagmandir Palace which are some of the famous tourist attractions of Udaipur. Later in the evening get ready for a boat ride in Lake Pichola and treat your eyes with the alluring beauty and beautiful sunset vistas. Overnight stay at hotel in Udaipur.

DAY 10 Udaipur – Cochin (By Flight: Depart @ 12:10 PM and arrive @16:40 PM) +

Have breakfast at the hotel and check out from the hotel. Transfer to Airport to board flight to Cochin. Upon arrival, transfer to the booked hotel. Spend day at leisure. If time permits, visit the LuLu Mall – an all-in one shopping, eating and entertainment destination. Overnight stay at hotel in Cochin.

DAY 11 Cochin – Sightseeing +

After breakfast, get ready to explore the beautiful city of Cochin. Head to visit the famous Chinese fishing nets, St.Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, Mattancherry and Fort Kochi complex. Overnight stay at hotel in Cochin.

DAY 12 Cochin – Munnar (By Road: 4 Hours Drive) +

Today after leisure breakfast, check out and proceed to Munnar, On the way, enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cheeyappara as well as Valara waterfalls and lush green tea meadows. Upon arrival, check in at the booked Hill Resort. Spend day at leisure or you can opt for a traditional Ayurveda massage (own cost). Overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.

DAY 13 Munnar – Sightseeing +

Today after breakfast, visit the famous places in Munnar including Eravikulam National Park (Raja Malai), Mattupetty Dam, Tea estates, Echo point, Spice Plantation, Rose Garden, Photo Point, Honey Bee Tree and Tea Museum. You can also enjoy boating in the Lake, rock climbing, trekking (optional on direct payment). Overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.

DAY 14 Munnar – Periyar (By Road: 4 Hours Drive) +

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Drive to Periyar, popularly called the 'Wildlife destination of Kerala” or “Spice bag of Kerala”. On arrival, go on a Spice Plantation tour in Periyar. Overnight stay at hotel in Periyar.

DAY 15 Periyar – Sightseeing +

Wake and enjoy morning breakfast. Day starts with boat ride (own cost) in Lake Periyar, one of the best things to do in Periyar. After this wonderful activity, you can opt for a Jeep Safari (own cost) or an elephant safar (own cost) as per your liking. The activities which can be enjoyed are bamboo rafting, elephant ride, Jungle walk tour etc. on direct payment basis. Overnight stay at hotel in Periyar.

DAY 16 Periyar – Kumarakom (By Road: 4 Hours Drive) +

Wake up and munch in heavy breakfast in morning. Check out from the hotel. Drive to Kumarakom. On arrival, check into the resort. Later, visit the renowned Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Overnight stay at resort in Kumarakom.

DAY 17 Kumarakom – Alleppey (By Road: 4 Hours Drive) +

Have early breakfast and proceed to Alleppey. Check-in to houseboat at 12.00 Noon. In the evening, enjoy snacks, tea and dinner will be served onboard. Overnight will be Houseboat in Alleppey. Note: The Cruising time is from 12 Noon to 05.00 PM and after that the houseboat will be parked at one place as per Govt Rules.

DAY 18 Alleppey – Kovalam (By Road: 4.5 Hours Drive) +

After breakfast, check out from the houseboat at 09.00 AM. Proceed to Kovalam. Reach Kovalam and check in at your hotel. Relax at the Kovalam Beach in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel in Kovalam.

DAY 19 Kovalam – Ayurveda Treatment +

Enjoy the day soaking in the beach views and relax in a pleasant environment. One can also take Ayurveda treatment here as Kovalam is one of the best place in India for variety of Ayurveda massages.

DAY 20 Kovalam – Sightseeing +

DAY 21 Kovalam – Sightseeing +

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing experiencing a tour around Trivandrum: The Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum, Sree Chithra art gallery, zoological park and Sri Padmanabha Temple. Overnight stay at hotel in Kovalam.

DAY 22 Kovalam – Kanyakumari (By Road: 2.5 Hours Drive) +

After early breakfast, check out from the hotel at 08.00 AM. Proceed to Kanyakumari and enroute, visit the majestic city of Padmanaphapuram inspired by the Travancore architectural style. Continue drive to Kanyakumari. On arrival, check in at hotel and after little relaxation, visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial that houses a memorial dedicated to Swami Vivekananda. it is situated ont he the convergence of the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. Later, visit the enormous Thiruvalluvar Statue and famous Suchendra Temple. Enjoy Sunset views of Kanyakumari – the southernmost tip of India. Overnight stay iat hotel in Kanyakumari.

DAY 23 Kanyakumari – Trivandrum (By Road: 2.5 Hours Drive) – Departure +

Wake up and settle for breakfast at leisure. Later, check out from the hotel. Transfer to the Trivandrum airport to board flight back home.

We booked a trip to Ladakh based on positive reviews on tripadvisor. It was a personal 7 nights 8 days trip. They asked us our preferences and came up with an itinerary and price with 3 or 4 star hotel options. The trip included leh, pangong tso, shyok,nubra valley, turtuk, alchi and travelling through high altitude snowy passes khardungla and changla and kargil (we added kargil). We went late june early july. It was beautiful and flowers were starting to come up, and also snowmelts. A bit scary in shyok as the road in places disappeared and we drove over stones and through water for a few kilometres. We saw marmot, wild donkey and free horses, yak and several birds. The mountains are majestic. The altitude does make you a bit breathless, none of us had any health condition and we felt it. Our local contact in leg provided by traeminent tours advised us on altitude sickness and he emphasised several times on contacting him if we ever felt unfortable beyond the usual symptoms, how much and when to sleep. We followed his instructions carefully. We also took diomax for tge altitude breathlessness the first night which helped but it makes you thirsty and gives you a headache so we stopped taking it after. For our stay in Pangong tso our Leh person Gurmeet told us to take an oxygen cylinder reason being its higher altitude and there are no hospitals. An oxygen cylinder has 3 hours worth of oxygen should you need to drive to a hospital. We considered the Rs 2,500 an insurance and we did feel more breathless at pangong. While we could have managed without oxygen the oxygen did help ease the tightness in our chest (maybe coming from hot humid sea level singapore we took probably longer to adapt). We chose the 3 star option and did not regret it. Most cases the rooms were spacious and had great views. At pangong tso we asked to upgrade to a room with a view for an additional Rs 6.6k per person we were 3, sharing a room so we paid Rs 19.8k we felt was steep but were told taxes are high and dinner was included. Our Rs 51k per person for the trip included an excellent calm careful and informative driver Jimme and a sturdy spacious vehicle, breakfast and in two places dinner. Jimme's playlist is also great so after our trip we asked him for it. We saw beautiful monastries at Alchi, Lamayuru, Diskit, moonland the impressive Indus, Shyok and Suru rivers which we drove along. Jagmohan our tour coordinator was helpful and accommodating of our requests to add Kargil. Over all an excellent trip and we were glad we chose Traeminent.  July, 2026

It's was a pleasant trip. 6 days and 5 nights - 3 couple. Cover kochi, Kollam and alappuzha boat house. The driver was good and helpful.
