Meet our guide who will drop you at Safdarjung Railway station. Enjoy lip smacking dinner on board and overnight stay in the luxurious Maharaja Express. Proceed to Agra later on. 

Today, you will be arriving Agra which is your next stop on this Gems of India Tour. Later proceed to visit Taj Mahal. Built by Shah Jahan, Taj Mahal is considered to be the finest epitome of love attracting tourists from all walks of life. It is also considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World making it a unique spot for every kind of travelers. Then you will be proceeding for champagne breakfast at Taj Khema.
Later return back to Maharaja express. You can choose for other optional activities like Spa at hotel or you can head to visit Itmad-Ud-Daulah. This masterpiece is a marble mausoleum and is also known as Baby Taj by the people. You can also choose to go for a private shopping tour and buy some souvenirs as a memory of the place. 
Have your lunch on board and then head to Agra Fort which is well known for its rich history. With various halls and palaces, the fort is another famous place where you can learn about the history of India. Choose to go to Fatehpur Sikhri or for a private shopping tour to wind up your day. 
Return back to the luxurious train or you may enjoy the optional activity of Mohabbat-e-Taj Show. Dinner will be served on board and the train will then proceed to Sawai Madhopur. 
 

Wake up early morning and get ready for an enthralling game drive at Ranthambore national park. This park is one of the top tourist destinations that allow the guests to get up close and personal with the animals of the region. Later return back to Maharaja Express where you will be having your scrumptious breakfast on board. The train will later proceed to the colourful city of Jaipur which will be you next stop on this luxurious train tour. Have your lunch on board in the afternoon and then proceed for sightseeing tour of the city of Jaipur. Head to visit Amber fort that edifies the true history of the place. You can choose from plethora of activities such as a spa at a hotel, go for a shopping spree or visit City Palace Museum and Observatory (Jantar Mantar). By evening enjoy dinner at the famous City Palace or Jai Mahal Palace. You will also get an opportunity to be with the elephants, feed them or even enjoy a joy ride. Then return back to the comforts of the luxurious Maharaja Express and then you will be proceeding back to Delhi.

Have your breakfast on board and later you will bid farewell to your luxurious train journey that will come to an end.

Terms & Conditions :

  1. The above cost is exclusive of 5% GST service tax that will be charged extra.
  2. All Optional Tours are on chargeable basis and are subject to availability. Details and pricing will be made available on board during the journey.
  3. Please note all bookings confirmed are non-transferable and will invite a cancellation charge as applicable.

Exclusions

The tariff however does not include taxes, insurances, alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, laundry, and fees of video and professional cameras.

Booking Policy followed by the Maharajas Express is as follows:

  1. If booking is done prior to 90 days of departure or more, then 25% of the total tariff is to be paid at the time of booking.
  2. Remaining 75% of ticket value can be paid 60 days prior to departure.
  3. If booking is done less than 60 days of departure or less, then full 100% of the total tariff is to be paid at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

The cancellation policy that is followed by the train is as:

  1. If cancelled 60 days or more prior to departure date, then 25% of the published tour cost is deducted.
  2. If cancelled 45-59 days prior to departure date, then 50% of the published tour cost is deducted.
  3. If cancelled 0-44 days prior to departure date, then 100% of the published tour cost is deducted.
  4. If you fail to show up on the departure date, then 100% of the published tour cost is deducted.
